RIP Jacob KT 2/16/06
Characters:
4 MOR-015 Longshot ~ Rebel Freedom Fighter
15 DGL-123 Manhunter Sniper ~ Army
15 DGL-124 Manhunter Soldier ~ Army
3 DJL-207 Manhunter Conqueror ~ Grandmaster (Who wants to take damage to the face equal the number of army cards I have out?!!!)

Plot Twists:
4 DGL-137 Plans Within Plans
4 DJL-208 War Without End
4 DGL-132 Manhunter Science
3 DJL-206 [ycard="CRV-EN058]Conscription[/ycard] (free 1 drop? and I don't have to use it during the build phase? what's the catch? there is none? Oh, ok that sounds really broken!!)
4 MOR-183 Cover Fire (+26 defense anyone?)

Locations:
1 DGL-141 Underground Complex (play it and you will understand why it's a godly card)
3 DGL-182 Birthing Chamber

It's amazing, it actually works. It's consistant too, even when you mulligan for longshot and don't get it the deck can manage without it because of birthing chambers, manhunter science, and underground complex.

Oh okay. This is not the build I thought it was going to be. But as I understand it this one works well too. I'm colleciting the peices for a Manhunte Deck as well, but I'm going a different route. For some reason, Longshot always works against me. I can't figure out why, it just always does.

I made some changes. I took out a birthing chambers, an underground complex, and a Conscription so I could have 15 of each of my army cards. Longshot is now much more consistant, I don't draw double birthing chambers as often, I don't get underground complex when It's useless, and I can always plans within plans for extra Conscriptions.

By the way, the turn before I drop manhunter conquerer (which is usually turn 6 or 7) I use as many Conscription as my hand size can handle (which is usually as many as I have available to me) so that I can do the max amount of damage.

Also, you should see the look on someone's face after they have stunned all your 1-drops, passed attacks to you, and you use Conscription followed by war without end. It's great :icon_mrgr :icon_mrgr :icon_mrgr

P.S. Longshot doesn't work against you when you are using 15 of each of the two cards you declare wshen using him, he works FOR you. If nothing else he's making your characters +1/+1 for an attack.

Well, it doesn't seem to be a mater of numbers, it's like there is this low probabilitiy field surrounding me that makes the usual stuff that works for everyone work inconsistantly for me. I know, it sounds paranoid, but I've got half the people I know beliveing it from seeing it first hand. It's why I have to play such oddball stuff. It's the only thing that works for me. I'll be doing this Manhunter thing but with all the 3 drops and Manhnter Sleepers. We'll see how it does when I can get all the peices.

So, I'm not the only one with this phenomenom. Ever see someone play titans and not get any CHARACTERS TILL TURN 6!!!! yeah that would be me...

Yikes! You mean there are others? Like me? We should form a team or something. Maybe call oursekves the X-m....uh, nevermind. :D

So I'm not the only one who can activate Longshot and pull the only three plot twists in the deck for three turns?

well, with longshot, what you wanna do is don't play anything that causes you to shuffle your deck for as long as possible...

Also, daamazing, how many USS argus's do you run? A mulligan and 6 turns is the equivilant of going through 20 cards. Assuming you didn't get an argus that means out of 60 cards, going through 20 of 60 cards u didn't hit X+Y cards were X is the amount of characters you run and Y is the amount of USS Argus's you run :icon_roll

If you did hit argus by turn three you go through 28 cards. effectively meaning you went through half your deck without hitting a single character... meaning every card remaining in you deck should be a character. That's not bad luck, that's a really bad shuffleing job.
