Since the new ban list what how valuable are these cards. Not in terms of dollars and cents. But in how much they help a deck.

D. D. Assailant

and

Cyber Dragon

I heard them come up over and over and would just like to hear what some of the more experienced players think of these cards.
Can't live without them? Can't beat them, so you better have some. Or they're really good in the right deck.

Thanks

They are worth a lot deffinantly, they are cards wanted by just about everyone these days, they're are pretty much a big staple in most decks out there in the mainsteam play. They are deffinantly perfect to add into your deck in my opinion.

Yea those 2 cards help a lot. Cyber Dragon is a monster in this metagame because it is basically a free special summoned monster with a whopping 2100 attack. DD Assailant on the other hand is more for control.

Moved to General Discussion (YGO). You're welcome in advance :p .

Please note that this thread is not offering any tips or reviewing any cards, just talking about them.

Ok, I'll take these one at a time:
D. D. Assailant - Well, he's powerful alright. The truth is, he is dwarfed by his little sister (huh?) and simply can't compete in the conventional warrior deck. Figure that old fashioned warriors essentially have on of everything, one card for every situation, and then Reinforcement x2 and Returning x3 to get the right card at the right time. So basically, he can't stand up to D. D. Warrior Lady in most cases. However, in a true all out chaos deck, you might run 3x these AND the lady. Unfortunatley, with Mystic Swordsman LV2 on the rise, he's forced to either suicide or risk not getting his effect. Conventional Warrior: 4/10. All out Chaos: 9/10. Any old deck: 2/10.
Cyber Dragon - Fun. In a light deck, there are better options as per Airknight Parshath. In a machine deck, they have to contend with the fury of monsters like Mechanical Hound and Fusilier Dragon, the dual mode beast. In a fusion based deck, it absolutely PALES in comparison to Dark Paladin, The Last Warrior From antoher Planet, and Thousand-Eyes Restrict. The truth is, it really only fits in aggro as a good topdeck or opening hand draw. 6/10 :/

D. D. A.

Basically if your meta loves this lolly, then yea itll own any Cyber Dragon out there. literally this is anti-anything. Except the anti-meta cards. which just happen to be cards that twist the meta so they win, For D. D. A. you got D. D. Survivor. You play against a D. D. Survivor youll get wasted.

Its a good card, but i dont think its godly that should be in any game and so forth blah blah blah yata yata yata gibberish gibberish pund sign exclamation point coma semi colon colon dollar sign percent sign and.

now the Cyber Dragon is just a dead freebie for both anti-swarm and swarm its your answer to all of lifes problems. Is it worth going to the shops and spending thousands on these, nope, else some day youll be mad because it got released as a common in a structure deck.

Lightning Vortex, Royal Decree, Mystic Swordsman Lv 4, D. D. Warrior Lady all come to mind.

what beats that thing basically anything that kills higher hitters or special summon. :)

good card, not worth the trouble.

really, unless they are given to you as freebies dont go and look for them like their some kind of priceless work of art.

seriously the art on it is cruddy, compared to Magic cards or Vs Cards, etc..
