What's a Better Cyber Lasser Dragon or Cyber Barrior Dragon??

Both are good. They are the example of a perfect Defense and Offense when used correctly.

Neither. You waste 2 Cyber Dragons to summon Laser, only to have your opponent activate Torrential Tribute, and you cant even raise it from the Graveyard. They could have at least made it a Special Summon Only monster.

Barrier is only slightly better, seeing as you only need one Cyber Dragon or Proto-Cyber Dragon.

Both needing to be summoned by a Spell or Trap Card slows them down considerably and makes having both in your deck a management nightmare.

Casual Play worth: 2 out of 10

Tournament Play Worth: 0 out of 10

Good luck....

YEs, Plus if you use it for defense then u might as well not even bother, just use something better.

ALL in All, NOT WORTH IT!

Actually, you shouldn't use both! Barrier and Laser are a huge risk as they recuire a trap or a spell to be summoned. Seeing as most players now have Jinzos on their side, Cyber Barrier Dragon would become quite useless. Cyber Laser Dragon may have more chance to come out. But even so, you would have to tribute 2 Cyber Dragons, wich is downright NUTS:p
Besides, 2400ATK doesn't really pose a threat to most players. Also if you would DRAW a Laser or a Barrier, consider your draw phase WASTED. The best thing to do with Cyber Dragons, is to play 3 of them in your deck, special summon them and then get your Mobius', Zaborgs or perhaps Granmargs out and blow your opponents cards to the graveyard and go for the direct attack. Ceasefire might be a welcome addition to this type of deck in order to protect your monarchs from (flip) effect monsters.
So there you go:p

From the posts I see from most of you, all I see is excuses on why it is not worth playing because this circumstance or that circumstance. If you are running a Cyber Dragon Deck, and I mean Cyber Dragon DECK you should run them or at least try them. I summon Cyber Laser Dragon, but you activate Torrential Tribute. Big whoopie do. Any monster can fall to that. Here is my answer to that. Call of the Haunted + Proto Cyber Dragon + Infernal Reckless Summon. Proto Cyber Dragon was made in order to make Photon Generator Unit and Attack Reflector Unit playable. I have yet to see any of the positive times to use them. What about direct attacking on an open field and in order to win the game a another Special Summon is in order? Both are good cards, for a Cyber Dragon Deck. But since everyone runs Cyber Dragon x3 in their CC Decks there is no point in running his support period.

Unless you happen to maintain 5 plus cards in your hand every turn, and also manage to pull the stars and the moon all in alignment, there are a million other combo's that are more worthy of pulling off than this one. It's way too many cards to be consistent, whereas your opponent isnt trying to overwhelm you with 5 card combo's.

Oh yeah, Bottomless Trap Hole was made for removing Cyber Laser Dragon too, and its not so far-fetched to see in most decks....

Ok well since everyone is content on making scenarios up like that, whenever that happens I will Seven Tools of the Bandit or Royal Decree any opposition. Problem solved. Hand advantage is not everything. It is a shame the TCG has not figured out what the OCG already knows.

Wow! That seems a lot more complicated than my answer, Roll Out! with a Heavy Mech in the grave. :)

Yes they are costly monsters and are unlikely to be useful in most decks. And somehow this is different than almost any other nomi monster? Some monsters are only meant for a deck built for themselves. Those with experience in specialized decks know how to protect those heavy hitting, costly to the resources monsters from the threats they face. From IMT and Heavy Mech to My Body as a Shield, Royal Decree or even the nearly all powerful Solemn Judgment. You certainly won't see Cyber Barrier or Cyber Laser become the next addition to the cookie cutter ranks. And personally that suits me just absolutely positively fine. I much prefer seeing specialized decks that show personality and devotion to a theme instead of just the top 50 line up of cards that everyone plays again and again and again.

Yeah, which is why when people try them they just shut them down and consider them garbage. Perhaps they would not be considered such if people stuck with the theme of the Deck instead of fitting every CC card as possible before the theme loses space in the Deck. I do not ever see a time where Laser or Barrier would be added to the ranks of those CC Decks only because of the mentality of the players in the TCG (hand advantage is important, themes are trash, and so on). However, I do see Cyber Phoenix being the next CC along with Cyber Dragon for obvious reasons.

You are more focused on trying to bring credibility to an awful combo, than you are seeing that most people will more than likely have the cards I mentioned, while you will defintely take about 2 to 3 turns just to get "half" of your necessary cards.

I mean, come on. Every card in Yugioh is not going to revolutionize the game!! If it did, what happened to cards like "Burglar" and "Steel Scorpion"? Are we going to have to wait another 5 years for support cards to make them even more useless because they came too late?

Yes, such an awful combo to Call of the Haunted a Proto-Cyber Dragon and respond with Infernal Reckless Summon, or use Last Will and get a Proto-Cyber Dragon and then use Infernal Reckless Summon. I fail to see how it is a bad combo to use Proto-Cyber Dragon with Attack Reflector Unit and so on. What you forget is that Yu-Gi-Oh! has a 80-90% useless card ratio while the rest is good in any Deck or with a little effort can be good. A card like Burglar is not going to revolutionize the game in 1 bit. What is it going to do? Intimidate my opponent with its awesome below 800 ATK or something? Not to mention, cards as each set comes out become less and less playable.

The combo you suggested is not a bad combo. But what are the chances that you are going to have everything you need by the time it would be useful?

Like I said, even with a bad hand, I usually draw at least a Bottomless Trap Hole, Sakuretsu Armor, and Smashing Ground in one of my first 2 turns, and that doesnt include what I already have. Call of the Haunted is pretty slow to use with Proto-Cyber Dragon, and of course, you can't Heavy Storm my field on the turn you try to activate it, or use Giant Trunade, so if I have a Bottomless Trap Hole or Torrential Tribute, you are going to have to take a chance and find out.

Again, I'm not trying to discredit the combo altogether, but if an effect requires more than 3 cards to pull off, you have to admit, it better be close to ending the game when it's finished.

I enjoy nothing more than watching people play elemental hero Decks, and the way they start Top Decking by their second turn.
