Lots of swarm.. this deck should have no trouble at all with field presence.... Im looking to control the heck out my opponent. Hand, S/T zone, and monsters.... here it is... Fixes // Comments greatly appreciated...

It is a good deck i have a deck very similar to it.

Also IMO keep the zaborgs

I agree, keep Zaborg. What people forget is once you have got the first monarch out on the field, you can always use them to tribute for another so you can use their effects. It adds for alot of speed and protection. Interesting deck, how does it work for you?
 
I've been tossing around the Idea of dropping in Ultimate Offering..... Use its effect to Trib for Zaborg, then Mobius, then whatever else I want for 4000 + damage to an open field..

Oh and by the way ... I like Lightning Vortex, Good Monster removal, its worth the discard IMO....use it, drop Mobius on the Field, or just use Giant Trunade, and attack an open field Once Again...

This deck is designed to have Field Presence all the time... and keep clearing your stuff away time and again so I can do big damage fast...

I have also been tossing around the Idea of using Pole Position as I will probably have about the only monster on the field most of the time, or at least the biggest.... even if it IS at 2400 atk... cuz of this decks clearing power.... ( dont want them taken away or destroyed by Dark Hole.....)
 
In my experience using Maruading Captain, (especially in a Warrior deck but I believe it will apply here) over extending your hand becomes a problem. The Giant Rats and Nimble Momongas should help you to have more options as to weather or not extend your hand at any given time, however, I wouldn't be afraid to experiment with a Morphing Jar either if you find yourself at hand disadvantage often.
 
I decided that 2 Marauding Captains could be a hinderence... hand wise... there have been times where he is the only monster in hand, and i hate using him if i dont get his effect..

So i replaced 1 Marauding Captain with a Morphing Jar.....
(well actually i ordered one and hopefull I will have it by weeks end so i can use it )...

Field presence doesnt seem to be much of a problem and it seems to run well... I DO lack some firepower sometimes, like whe I dont have another Monarch in hand to trib, and destroy. Otherwise It seems to be running pretty well, keep the suggestions coming ....it seems to be missing something that i cant put my finger on....

Offering would be a nice finisher, but nothing else, just cause its like a slow captain and like John said, overextending your hand is bad, even if you are holding a mjar.
 
drop both Jar of Greeds, add in 1 Ultimate Offerings, the raw abuse that you can pull from it is amasing and 1 Scapegoat. this is for the Cannon Soldier :)


thats preaty much all i can see at the moment that would help it a bit more.

dont use Card of Sanctity + Dimension Fusion in this deck.

1. while its good to swarm, its based on luck if you pull that Dimension Fusion.
2. The monsters you are using have absolutly no use with Dimension Fusion.

if the monsters were, Jinzo, Dark ruler, spell cancellor, Patrician of Darkness, End of Anubis, and Guardian Angel Joan or something, then yea i would see why youd want the combo to pull off, but this deck is monarch, so that combo is no good. :)

drop 2 Jar of Greed i understand its drawing but ... idk i just never liked them

i would add a Ceasefire, and Magic Cylinder

Drop a Giant Trunade for Scapegoat

so heres my fixes

-2 Jar of Greed
-1 Giant Trunade
+1 Ceasefire
+1 Magic Cylinder
+1 Scapegoat (for defence or sending goats for damage)
 
I like the idea of a Scapegoat in there... I have found 2 Giant Trunades too much sometimes... so I will try it

Funny thing ... I like the Jar of Greeds cuz they can chain to removal for an easy draw.... but Magic Cylinders and Ceasefire have been staple in my decks for so long, i subbed them in the other day for old time sake and it ran exceptionally well.... so I will most likely keep it, and side the Jars.... thx



PS... I edited the deck for my current usage, and added my side deck.... some are good, some are filler ... so any help with the side deck would be appreciated...... we still have alot of CHAOS going on in my meta, also alot of ZOMBIE decks and BURN/STALL ..... ideas for the side deck would be helpful.... thanks...
