I'd seen and played against Water Control with Abyss Soldier and such, but hadn't seen any other kind of control except for the Dons and Reapers found in CCs. Any suggestions are appreciated and, if you wouldn't mind a rating too. Thanks.

Hmmm, I must have missed this original posting. Sorry about that.

Flying Kamakiri #3 at 3 is 1 too many (did you get that? ;)) Leave it at 2. A Feather of the Phoenix seems unneccessary here. Same with Phoenix Wing Wind Blast. Let's use Icarus Attack x2 instead of the PWWB and let's use the Apprentice Magician x2, Magician of Faith, and Hand of Nephthys set for more control.

Don't use Dimension Fusion - it will only help your opponent in this format. I also don't care for the Dragged Downs. I don't see a Heavy Storm (though you seem to have enough S/T removal with Phoenix, Lady Ninja, and Joe). If not, add it and a Breaker since those 2 cards are never bad.

I also worry that you have too much "Special Summon this by removing this." You have 17 monsters, 5 of which need to remove something to hit the field and 2 aren't even legitimate targets. Get a Treeborn in here for field presence and a DDWL for you name it.

The problem is you've decided to take a relatively weakly supported theme and run with it. It will be hard to maintain that theme and do anything consistently.
