Any soccer fans out there among the membership? Watching any of the Women's World Cup?

Korea DPR scores 2 goals on the U.S. team while the U.S. striker is being sew up on the sideline. Once she's back in the U.S. scores a second goal with under 5 min. remaining for the 2-2 tie. Looks like Korea DPR is a strong side, certainly one of the top in the world and physical as well. This should be an interesting World Cup!

my boys watch in the monings - when they can...we're missing a regionals today due to soccer league play - its all good - as a kids coach - i like & recommend watching the girls - they play a tighter game team wise - (better game & team concepts are what we push) they are not as ego driven as the men and dont freelance as much - plus things happen a tiny bit slower so things are easier to see they dont have the "if it dont fit get a bigger hammer" mentality the men do
both are fun to watch although it seems to me as if the girls are not nearly the drama queens the men are....go figure

I'll go along with that. I've coached men's and women's teams (in another sport) and the women are MUCH easier to bring together as a team. Men's egos get in the way far too often and they try to do things too often by themselves. Women seem to buy into team concepts much more quickly.
