Hi All!

I am traveling to Ireland this weekend for a 9 day trip and will go through Dublin and Belfast and a whole lot of other places.

Any good Yu-Gi-Oh! gaming stores in Ireland that I should visit? I'd appreciate a list of names and addresses. Any U.S. cards needed in Ireland?

There arent any real stores to visit.Well im not sure about belfast cos i dont travel up north ever. There is a small tourny this sunday in Wynns hotel on abbey street. If you are in the country early enough just get a taxi to o connell street. On the side of the river with the big ugly spike sticking out of the ground (trust me ya couldnt miss it if ya wanted to) you start at the river and head forward until you reach the tram lines. That would be the first intersecting road. Turn right and just a little bit after that you will be at the front door of Wynns hotel.

Now for places to buy cards almost any toy shop has them in stock the main ones in the republic being smyths, toymaster, world of wonder. There is a shop on the quays in dublin that sells a decent amount of cards called forbidden planet. Starting from O'connell street look across the river. Look slightly to your right and you should see a shop thats almost all black with forbidden planet as the sign. If ya miss the sign look for lots of comics in the window. If ya wanna check them comics out head downstairs when ya get in there.

There is another place that does comics and cards with a small downstairs are ya can sit down and play a couple games in but im not sure of the opening times. i dont visit dublin often and never really get time to go there. I think its called fourth dimension or fifth dimension or something. On O'Connell street head across the river and straight ahead down the road until you reach the big building with large columns. Thats the central bank. Turn the corner and go down like the third or fourth side road and I hink its down one of them. i can never remember which. If ya make it to the tourny you will get more solid info. Hell i might be there for a while.

Also ia ya wanna chat with a few of the irish players and get more info there is a forum for us irish guys ya can check out and the link is.....

Magic_Darkness or peps might drop in and give ya more info here as well.

As far as cards go bring whatever ya want. Theres usually good trading going on. Especially with MD. Damn him and his sexy front page of his binder with 2 regular raiza and an ultimate one in between.

Thanks Emerald Dragon for the cool info. I leave for Ireland on June 9th, but won't arrive in Dublin until June 10th. I'm staying at the Camden Court Hotel which I don't believe is too far from Wynn's hotel, but looks like I'll miss the Irish National tournament. Good luck if you attend!

I'll be traveling to Armagh, Derry, Belfast and back to Dublin on a 9 day tour. My son and I are bringing YGO cards to pass the time away on the plane and the bus. If we have time, we'll have to visit some of the gaming stores. I got the info on the 4th Dimension store near the Temple Bar in Dublin.

Funny, I know Irish people have a distinct accent. I didn't know they typed with a similar accent as well.

Actually nationals are over th tourny on sunday is a local. Ya could always stop by for a few minutes even if ya cant get in early enough to play in it. Theres always stuff to do there.

And whadya mean we type with the same accent? I is confustificated.

I dont know yet. I might do. Is Jim doing a WoW tourny at the same time? Im looking for some more cards and some playing experience.

I'm not sure. I'll have my WoW cards with me, and I'm quite sure he'll have packs to sell. I know there's two WoW regionals next month:

Dolmen Hotel
Carlow
14th July

Wynns Hotel
Dublin
15th July

Well i knew about the regionals and Id like to go to both but can only afford to go to the one in dublin. Saying that even if i qualify i wont be able to go to england for the nationals. Maybe when we get enough players we will be able to have our own nationals in which case i can attend them until then i just wanna have some fun in a tourny or two.
