Twas the night (okay morning) before Christmas
No one was in school
I was building a deck
For a holiday duel

What cards to include?
I was wracking my brains
Games and Stuffed Dolls
And Mechanical Trains

3X Steamroid
3X Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive
Des Koala
Bait Doll
Back to Square One
Enemy Controller

More toys were needed
Ones with robotic cunning
And all high tech toys
Need something to keep them running

2X Drillroid
Mechanical Hound
3X Batteryman AA
3X Battery Charger
Cyber Jar

'Tis the season for giving
Not keeping for oneselves
So into the deck
Went a variety of elves

2X Gemini Elf
Toon Gemini Elf
Mystical Elf
Gift of The Mystical Elf

Another lesson to learn
On this Christmas Eve
Is that it's better to give
Than it is to recieve

Exchange
Creature Swap
Magic Cylinder

Milk and cookies for Santa
And the ladies love jewels
A Swiss Army knife is just the thing
To help me out of close duels

2X Emergency Provisions
Black Pendant
7 Tools of the Bandit

Hide all of these presents
But don't toss the container
If you don't like what you got
You can always return it later

Secret Barrel
2X Fairy Box
Card Destruction

A trio of angels
To bring this deck to perfection
And a trio of germs
Because kids carry infection

3X Shining Angel
3X Giant Germ

This deck is now finished
Though admittedly janky
But it's better than getting
Socks, or a new hanky

I hope you all enjoyed

Nothing to contribute to the deck. Yet I'm posting anyway... I just wanted to say that that poem was AWESOME. I couldn't make that excellent meter and rhyming work if my life depended on it. That was HILARIOUS. :D Have you considered posting in the poetry section? *is dead serious*

The deck itself is indeed janky, but as I always say "'Tis the season to be janky".*

I can't help but think that I want to make a poem deck, too. :D

Unless babyarm beats me to it, I'm going to do "The Raven". Nevermore! :D :D :D ;)
 
I love the poem as well. Bravo, my friend. In fact, I dare not even touch the deck for fear of ruining the poem. I needed that smile. Keep up the good work.
 
Thanks everybody, and the deck went 1 out of three against a Gravekeeper deck the other day. Still needs some work to be competitive, but it's mainly a fun deck anyway. Maybe I'll do a Final Countdown New Years Deck :D
