Does anyone know wher I can find this font family for, oh, you know, free? I can't justify paying $39.00 for it just to make some custom cards. This is the Yu-Gi-Oh! font which appears to be used on the whole of the card. It's called Matrix Book.
Nope. $39.00 isn't bad, though. I paid twice that for it (for our lovely custom images).
Tread carefully with making custom cards. There is a really good reason that we don't make them for anyone, even ourselves. The closer you make them look to real, the more trouble you can get yourself into. Heck, if you guys had any idea of what we're *capable* of creating, you'd be floored. Only 2 or 3 people have ever seen what a full size, full resolution EGI image looks like.
BTW ... there a 5 different fonts on a YGO card (No, I can't divulge what they are, other than suggesting http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont as a great way to find out)
When I made my Scapegoat tokens back in the day, I used Garamond and Georgia for the card text at the bottom and a Garamond with a drop shadow at the top. Again, it was just for fun, but it came relatively close.
Hmm, Garmond is pretty close. With some manipluation in the Character Menu I can get it pretty close. Thanlks Dillie. I'm suprised I didn't see this when I went through my font list. Of course, I do have like 200 hundred fonts now. None of which I can seem to find a use for.
Starngely, a lot of the common default fonts were lost whern I reset my computer. I only have one Times New Roman and don't have Georgia at all. Wierd.
