Zero damage?

If two cards are in ATK mode with 0 ATK each (let's say Scapegoats) and they battle, do they destroy each other? And how is this different if someone activates Waboku during the Battle Step (reducing 0 damage to 0)?

Just a translation phenomena.. No damage and Zero damage look similar and in most cases would mean the same, however this is a case where it makes a difference.

The Card has been errata'd:

Waboku
(Starter Decks: Yugi, Joey, Pegasus, Yugi Evolution)
Make all Battle Damage inflicted by monsters on your
opponent's side of the field 0 during this turn.

Yet still puts the number Zero in. Zeros are confusing and they remain beyond the understanding of folks at UDE. Think of Zero as a word--not a number-- a synonym for None.

Both scapegoats would be destroyed unless someone activated Waboku. In that case, the person who did not activate Waboku would lose their scapegoat while the other scapegoat would remain unharmed.

even if both monsters attack were zero, treat them like they have an ATK the same as each other. Since the rule book says:

Player's ATK = Opponent's ATK
both the player's monster and teh opponent's monster are destroyed.
