Killing Jinzo is essential in my trap heavy skill drain deck. Of course, if I get skill drain out first, Jinzo is just any other 2400 ATK beatstick. Limiter removal him if you want but at least that will destroy him at the end of the turn. So I have to have ways to destroy Jinzo. Here's some...
If Yu-Gi-Oh follows the norm of other card games then writing down cards would be a no-no. Of course, the most relevant data (cards played) can be found in the graveyard which can be checked at any time (except when question is played).
Makes me wonder if you shouldn't sidedeck a couple of magic cards that can inflict damage directly to an opponent such as Poison of the Old Man for such an event.
On the first point though it only says "destroyed" not "destroyed and sent to the graveyard" which makes me wonder. I cannot find anything in the rulings to stop the effect from going through.
The economist in me wants to point out that while the individual is going to spend $23.1K this is not expending resources from society's point of view. A will merely (!) swap the money and the card with B (view it as a creature swap). B is still free to donate the money to charity and take a...
This last post misses the point of the questions:
First DDWL was not sent to the grave but was removed from play. The issue is can Forgiving Maiden bring her back?
Second, Skill Drain does not stop cards that are tributed for their own effect (eg. Exiled Force or Cannon Soldier). It is not...
Remember the episode of Star Trek TNG when this collector tries to collect Data? He has a Mickey Mantle baseball card in a case on the wall. Should have been a Cyber Stein! LOL
I am pretty sure Skill Drain negates DD Warrior Lady's effect since it resolves on the field. Although DD Warrior Lady is removed from play the effect resolves after damage calculation and before the card is send to the graveyard.
The text says "Offer this card as a tribute to return 1 of your monsters destroyed in battle during this turn to your hand."
First, if your monster is removed from play when it is destroyed (say its a DD Warrior Lady that suicided into a Jinzo and then used its effect to remove both cards)...
$6450 an seven days to go! I am an economist and price is established by supply and demand. Supply is very restricted and the demand is clearly high. Rare stamps can sell for mch higher prices yet what use value do they have? There are people out there with lots of money that they want to be the...
I presume that if you activate DNA surgery and declare machines you could bring two copies of any card from your deck if it satisified the ATK requirement.
This discussion has become way too confusing for a very simple concept. Traps that do not have a trigger requirement (Waboku as opposed to Negate Attack) can be activated in any stage when you get the opportunity to play. If you are the turn player (the player who drew a card and will have a...
The text on Royal Decree says "Royal Decree Continuous Trap: As long as this card remains face-up on the field, negate the effects of all Trap Cards except this card on the field." I presume you can activate traps meaninglessly. For example, suppose you have all 5 spell/trap zones filled with...
Krazy ... I was running brute thugs, as you put it, because I had fusilier dragons played with skill drain. Giant Trunade would have removed Skill Drain along with the other s/t cards and it would have cost be 1000LP to reset it and activate it on the next turn. Plus A-Team Trap Disposal would...
