Summoner of Illusions VS Fiend Skull Dragon

No, it wouldn't. Fiend Skull Dragon will be destroyed at the end of the turn. It will negate the effect... not the condition. It's been a long time my friend. :)

A Change of Control During a Responce Chain

Yes, you could. But what's being asked here anyway? If Player1 uses Priority to tribute Cannon Soldier, he/she may do so and tribute away. Player2 has no reason to activate Bottomless Trap Hole now... unless other monsters were summoned along with it, there is no other reason to...

A Change of Control During a Responce Chain

Raijinili's statement makes sense. Should hold true since Player1 can Bottomless Trap Hole Lava Golem summoned onto the Player2's field. Tribe-Infecting Virus isn't removed.

    Ruling inconsistency, unknown stats

Arsenal Bug has a Continuous Effect, the moment it were to go face-up, it immediately checks, so it goes face-up BEFORE Damage Calculation. No insect, no 2000, so it would be 1000 Def.

    Ruling inconsistency, unknown stats

The difference here is that you can view your hand, but, you cannot view your deck. Your hand is public knowledge to yourself, but not to others, and both players decks are not public knowedge to neither player or anyone else. That's because cards in your hand can be defined, like any other...

    Deck Devastation Virus

Don't sweat it, you make perfect sense. :) I didn't argue because this was the Head Judge afterall, and a friend of mine in fair gameplay. Thanks. It's just that when I think about it, I couldv'e clarified it myself if my opponent wasn't such a little brat kid, LoL, and actually let me...

    Deck Devastation Virus

Hey all, it's been awhile... Summers been fun :) Made of fool of myself one tourney... T.T Deck Devastation Virus "destroys" cards while in the hand, I ended up destroying Night Assailant and I said it's effect wouldn't activate, you know I gave the excuse and said "discard doesn't equal...

    brain control

As for Brain Control, I realize what I said was in error. -_- Sometimes slowing down and reading the text carefully, you'll answer your own question: Brain Control Pay 800 Life Points. Select 1 face-up monster on your opponent's side of the field. Take control of the "selected card" until...

    Three Unique Traps

Very impressive and underated cards. The only 1 of the 3 I don't find as useful is Dark Coffin. Only that: - Your opponent chooses which of the effects is to be used, sometimes it can be a good thing for them. Night Assailants or destroying their own Vampire Lord for Card of Safe Return...

    Necrofear Question....

Would Dark Paladin ever "get placed" within your hand when resolving the effect of Monster Reincarnation? By the way, cool avatar. LoL Toon Cannon Soldier

    Question on Flint

Flint remains on the field and chooses a new target as it begins a new chain.

    Return from the Different Dimension

If you were to Special Summon a Fusion Monster by means of Magical Scientist, and the Fusion Monster is placed face-down by say Book of Moon, it doesn't return to the Fusion Deck right? I always thought it doesn't return since the Fusion are Special Summoned face-up, so going face-down, the...

    brain control

How is Brain Control like Change of Heart? By your logic... Change of Heart can take on any Monster on your opponent's side of the field, face-up or face-down. It return because Change of Heart places a condition on "that monster". Brain Control can only target face-up. You completely...

    brain control

Ok, getting back on topic. Pretty bad example on my end, but I knew there had to be some example that supports it. How about Magical Scientist? If a Fusion goes face-down via Book of Moon, it doesn't return. There Special Summoned face-up.

    brain control

I was baffled when I first heard it. To me it's like Change of Heart, "Select 1 Monster" compared to Enemy Controller, "Change the Battle Position of 1 face-up monster". Change of Heart affects that 1 whole monster, and Enemy Controller only affects face-up. I believe it was Fiendish Envoy...

What about Return from a Different Dimension and a Monster Card who is flipped face-down due to Book of Moon. It doesn't return Removed From Play.

Sacred Phoenix of Nepthys "If this card is destroyed by a card effect, Special Summon this card during your next Standby Phase." If you Special Summon this card successfully in this way, destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field. Guardian Tryce This card can only be Normal Summoned...

Actually, if Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys is destroyed by Mystical Space Typhoon while equipped to Relinquished or Thousand-Eyes Restrict, it will meet the condition for it's effect. The same would be true for Guardian Tryce.
