Would this be a legal play.
Player A has Cyber dragon in face up attack
Player B has no monsters on the field but has one face down spell or trap.
Player A enters battle phase and declares an attack. He asks for a response.
Player B declines.
Player A says on entering damage step I play...
I apologise in advance if this question seems to have already been answered but I am trying to get my head around the mechanic as opposed to the actual ruling.
Considerations
1) Spell speed 1 is the slowest speed and cannot be chained, page 39 of the rule book, except in exceptional...
Thank you for that but I still do not get the actual difference
Fusion Material Monsters that are listed (Dragons mirror)
Fusion Material Monster listed (Prisma)
listed as a Fusion Material Monster (revoke)
The texts are identical, bar Dragons mirror being plural.
So why does...

Remove from play, from your side of the field or your Graveyard, Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on a Dragon-Type Fusion Monster Card, and Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Fusion Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon).
According to the...
Just making sure I have a correct understanding of what will happen (in case it comes up).
Player A has Colossal in face up attack.
Player B has Colossal in face up defence.
It is player A's turn and he attacks and destroys player B's Colossal.
I am assuming that both players want to...
Is tributing stardust for its negation effect a cost and therefore unaffected by Skill drain, (similar to exiled force), or will it be affected by skill drain?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for that,
Just to be clear.
The synchro summo is deemed to happen as part of/simultaneous to the effect of the tuner, unlike a normal tribute summon that happens after the tribute. That would explain why the beast works in a synchro summon, but jinzo returner woould not work in a...
This states
<SPAN>[If this card is sent to the Graveyard for a Synchro Summon, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Zombie-Type monster from your Graveyard.]
I always thought that optional effects missed their timing if something else happened after.
Situation
I have card of safe...
If you go dow the skill drain route then Lycanthrope will not always get its effect.
I suggest you lose this and the spells used to summon. This frees up space for 2 more skill drains.
I would also lose the soul tigers for one more blue eyes and a trade in. This would help stop blue eyes...
As a postscript my son ran the deck (with a second archfiend soldier in for mad dog of darkness). he finished 7th out of 22 in a 13 and under tournie.
We knew the deck was not perhaps as consistent as we needed it to be, but he had fun.

My bad
Re set question to after I draw but still in draw phase, before entering standby phase.
Will the second effect of reckless cause me to miss the timing on heart of the underdog even if I draw a normal monster.
Scenario
I have heart of the underdog active and reckless greed set from my last turn.
In my draw phase (before I draw) I activate reckless greed and draw two cards. Will the second effect of reckless prevent the heart of the underdog from activating, assuming I draw a normal monster...
thanks for that, I never could sepll.
Has anyone got an answer to my second question in that I respond the the special summon of test tiger while opponent has an appropriate face up target and claims priority.
Opponent has face up gladiator beast (say Hoplomus) flipped summoned this...
Thanks to everybody on my earlier post.
New question
I have face down summon limit.
Opponent has face down monster. He flips hopolmus. I respond with summon limit. If he summons anything else e.g. test tiger, I assume he cannot use priority to tag the gladiator beast out as my summon...
