10/01/05 Fiend Swarm Deck

Actually, this looks like a very sound deck. The suggestions given are good ones but I think that they would actually slow down this deck overall. To start, keep Monster Reincarnation. It is a really good card. Shallow grave would work in this deck too. Smashing Ground is always a good idea. Like I said though, this appears to be a sound deck.

Hmm, I really like that Shallow Grave idea, since it lets me get some extra use out of all my little flip effect monsters.

Card of Sanctity is another neat idea, if I could get my hands on one I would probably try it out.

Raigeki Break and Monster Reincarnation are there just because often times discarding a monster would be benificial to me, as I can either get back a Slate / Mimic / Mask with Night Assailant or just get Necrofood into the graveyard, blus Raigeki Break is good at dealing with face downs, and can be very helpful if I try for a Dimension Fusion OTK.

Smashing Ground is a nice card, I just don't know what I would take out for them, since I don't want to go over 40 as this deck is pretty reliant on pulling out Necrofear for the win and I want to keep my chances of drawing one up
Thanks for all the good suggestions. Keep 'em coming :eek:rc1:

Thanks, you're too kind... :embarasse

Anyway, I expect to catch a lot of flak for running Raigeki Break, so here's a little mini-article about why Raigeki Break is awesome...

Yeah, it's a 2-for-1. Yeah, it's a horrible topdeck. Yeah, it's bad hand management. But that doesn't matter for such a versatile card. It's perfect in that first game when you don't know what your opponent is running. It's a jack of all trades that can deal with f/d's, attackers, spells, traps, etc. After you're familiar with your opponents deck, you side it out for the trap best suited to what your opponent is playing (Ceasefire / Sakuretsu / Dust / Threatening /etc.). And it's extra effective in fiends because of its synergy with Necrofear & Night Assailant. So if you ever need one more trap for your maindeck, consider Raigeki Break...

You kidding me? I run a pair in my fiend deck, they work like magic! (or maybe, "They work like traps!")

Exactly! People are too quick to dismiss it just because its a 2-for-1. If they were to try it out, they would see that its one of the game's better traps...
