2 of the same monster in my Graveyard and Monster Reborn vs. Call of the Haunted

Let's say I have 2 Mystic Tomatoes in my Graveyard. My opponent uses Monster Reborn on one of them and I chain with Call of the Haunted, also intending to revive a Mystic Tomato, particularly the one my opponent wants. Because my opponent chooses the monster at activation, am I correct in assuming that after activating COTH I could decide that I want to revive the Mystic Tomato my opponent wants, rendering his MB useless?

They have to designate which Mystic Tomato. They can't change their mind once you chain either. You declare on activation. As so will you with Call of the Haunted. You may pick the smae Mystic Tomato they did.

Which is actually a nice way to make the effect fizzle. It will also work if your opponent targets a monster in your Graveyard with Autonomous Action Unit.

J/K, and thanks for the answer. On a little side note, I went with Mystic Tomato as that was the monster in this situation while playing WC4 a while ago (that's why I thought to make this topic). Too bad the computer doesn't let you know which monster the AI wants to revive if there's more than 1 of the same monster. I didn't revive the MT the AI chose. Heh.
