Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG 2006 Tins News

Unique among the three Sacred Beasts, Raviel, Lord of Phantasms, is in a class all by himself. This supreme leader of the Sacred Beasts returns in September, on a brand new 2006 Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Collector's Tin.

Raviel will join "Cyber Dragon" (and a third surprise monster!) in the 2006 Tins released in September. A second release of monsters will be featured on 3 other tins two months later. Each tin will also include 5 booster packs from the most exciting releases of the past year!

If you missed out on getting the extremely rare and hard-to-find Raviel, Lord of Phantasms when he came out in Shadow of Infinity, this will be your chance to finally pick him up!

(Shonen Jump newsflash)

edit: "yawn"

<smiles /> Its nice to finally see the fiends get their proper repsect (minus the initial banning of our fellow Yata-Garasu)...

I just wish it had been a holo Giant Kozaky or something, now THERE is a fiend 8^D

Sweet! I have one from Ebay, but I don't like the way it looks. It doesn't feel right, though everything about it looks real. Now I can get one for sure.

No Spells or Traps in there, then.

I'm guessing the surprise monster is Sonic Maid. Well, wouldn't it be a surprise?

There are certainly better fiends than Raviel, but the goal here is of course to sell as many tins as possible to kiddies and stuff, so from a business perspective, it's ingenious.

I'm happy it's not an E-Hero, but still kind of a boring pick.

Oh goodie; more re-releases. [/obvious sarcasm]

I've liked the previous re-release tins...Jinzo, XYZ, Buster Blader....even the Dark magician Girl was a nice cover. Any way, I already have a Raviel...I need the other two ;)

However, they got me on the ploy...I'll be buying up the Cyber Dragons. Do you think it's too early for Voltanis? (BTW skey... pulled one from Saturday's box. **blows raspberry**)
They re-released E-Hero Wildheart really quick in the GX pack, so it wouldn't surprise me if they did one from the last two packs.

However, I'm thinking maybe Cyber Twin/End (CRV) or Cyber Laser/Barrier Dragon (SOI). Although I would rather see something like Ancient Gear Golem (TLM) or even one of the older hard to gets, like Gate Guardian (MRD).

I pulled all three from packs within three days.

Now they're busting one (And if one then most likely the other two) out in tins. :duel_no_j

What about Return From the Different Dimension or Widespread Ruin? The tins seem to follow the meta a lot for the popular yet hard to get cards and I know RFtDD is the hot card now. I don't think Widespread is as popular now, but who knows.

It will be all monsters again, unfortunately.

I guess I can uncross my fingers now. I suppose it was too soon for a mass release of Shrink anyway.

Still no Crush Card...

I see this as a good thing, in that I only need to buy one of each, since there's nothing new and so far they are generally uninteresting.

I know what day my local stores get things in, the kids will be back in school, and I can swoop in at lunch time before all the Cyber Dragon tins run out.

:D

Raviel is meh, Uria outdoes him by far. The third tin is Elemental hero Neos if anyone was wondering.

Was that confirmed by Shonen/UDE, or one of those "Make A Wish" Websites?

Yeah its been confimred for a long time now

Yes. Raviel and Cyber Dragon are CONFIRMED by Shonen. I dont recall seeing Neos as being confirmed for "a long time". Only "Speculated". Can you provide the link to Shonen or UDE's statement of release?

Neo's is in the upcoming set Cyber Dark Impact i belive. there are alot of cards that fusion with it so i think its only possible that it would be released with them.

but for sure not Tin Material. Scope out the Dmcomet sites to see where exactly itll be located at.
