haha i dont go to tourneys very often mainly becoz i cant get rides...:nod_no...if i do tho i usually go to bob's or whatever they call it now...only prob is most ppl there use traditional so its kinda annoying...although i did get 2nd place out of all of them using an advanced format deck....

if i could i would go to c and j's in newark tho...they have SUCH GOOD CARD SELECTION...i would kill to go there on saturdays..
 
o yea..i found out lighten the load doesnt work the way i thought....i thought u could search ur deck for a level 7 or higher and add it to your hand THEN DRAW A CARD....that woulda been UBER...O_O..lol....but i found out it just returns a level 7 from your HAND to your deck....sigh...well back to the drawing board a bit...

i have 2 emes of infinity but i dont like using it...effects a bit weak for my tastes....

Yea i usually go to C&J's in newark. went to bobs once, didnt like it tho. Also, at the Hub there is a small tournament at Hobbytown at 1:00 pm on sundays. Im not going to C&J's this saturday, but I may go to hobbytown.


its true that lighten the load isn't broken, but it will help with awful hands non-the-less
 
ahh...i would go to hobby town on sundays but the only problem is i go to church and i dont get back home till 1....so by the time i hit the tourneys ill always be too late..now if they started them at 3:00 or something then i would go...
 
yea but keep in mind that one of us (me) is running a Final Attack Orders Deck, the other is running a Dark World/SkillDrain, the 3rd is running water, and the last one is just going to copy whatever does well at the next shonen jump. Im pretty sure you will defeat at least me :D
 
well after you figure out the problems and strong points, post it so we could either make it better or just copy it and use it at the next shonen jump

true...very true....i only have one of him tho but i will side deck him at least..maybe to replace blowback or something when i need him
 
im feeling a bit brain dead rite now...anyone have any more suggestions?? i really want this thing to be uber competitive..i've always wanted to see something a little more original to be tourney worthy...
 
I just realized you didn't have any Monster Gates in the deck?! You gotta find room for at least 2... Also, have you thought about maybe teching a Cyber-Stein, and a United We Stand? The deck will swarm well and UWS will power up quickly, and Stein can be Gate'd off once his effect is used.

indeed i must....but the continuing question is what to take out in their place...
 
I would drop the Dust Tornados and 1 Mausoleum for the Monster Gates. Mausoleum will be a dead TD if you already have one in play, or you are running low on LPs.
 
When I play my Reasoning / Monster Gate deck I've found that Barrel Dragon is a better 7 Star monster than Guardian Angel Joan. It seemed I never got to take advantage of Joan's effect but often did Barrel Dragon's effect.

As for 8 Star monsters I've found The Creator to be very advantagous in this type of deck as you'll be able to special summon previously summoned big dogs with it's effect.

The other way to go is not to use Reasoning but instead Level Conversion Lab. If you go this route you may want to consider Yamata or Hino (I plan on trying this with Mausoleum of the Emperor, I'll let you know how it pans out)
