A New Type of Burn - Macro Machine

This deck - a very rough first build - revolves around the idea of continuously shooting off DD Scout Planes/Survivors with Cannon Soldiers. I don't have a lot of the cards but the idea seems worth exploring.

The usual, including Cyber End (which I don't have) and Cyber Twin.


I know I am missing a lot here, I don't know Machines very well. I just think that Cannon Soldier and Macro/D Fissure could be a very nasty combination.

Thoughts? Would Power Bond work at all here? (I don't know that card at all)
 
Ya know, I half expected to see Ectoplasmer. With Cosmos and 'Plasmer out, if you remove Survivor, you inflict 900 and Survivor comes back via his effect. It's tricky to pull off (consistently), but a fun idea to toy around with.
 
Lol, yeah. I could even use Limiter+Megamorph on Scout Planes if I wanted to.

It seems like this could be worked into something deadly, more with the Cannon Soldier angle.
 
Agreed. Cannon Soldier works nicely here, and gives you field presence. However, Ectoplasmer does give you a form of monster removal, though at a cost to your own Life Points. However, if you can work around it, it could be quite effective. I'm looking at a hideous hybrid of both.

What do you think?
 
i don't have any ideas at this time but wow i love this deck idea, i think i'll try this deck out and see if i come up with anything that could help
 
Triple Solemn Judgement or bust.

Other than that, I don't see this deck working very well.

But there should definately be a quantity higher than (1) of Mystic Tomatoes. :)
 
yeah so u wouldn't get the tomato effect but apprentice magician u would get the effect and u can get old vindictive magician, also i don't see grand convergence which is a very good card with macro cosmos and if u don't like that one try choas end
 
Old Vindictive/apprentice might work; 3x Solemns seems a bit much with 2-3 Cyber Steins there also. But if I use Apprentice /OVM, I would lose spots for Nimble, which is great here I think.

Any luck testing the deck yet? I might use one Grand Convergance is the sidedeck, but I don't want to nuke my own Soldiers...
 
well the way i'm testing it is full out burn/stall but with the way ur going i would say keep the nimbles, also i would drop the metamorphosis cuz there isn't much u can use it on and run giant trunade for the otk
 
i haven't had a chance to test play it yet but i will this weekend and well with how i got it built i just may run toon cannon soldier and toon table of contents and throw in 2 reinforcement of the army to make sure i can get them when i need them, but here's what it looks like right now tell me what u think

That looks VERY interesting. Not sure about the Golems, but with all the stall in there in might just work. Macro builds need to be at 40 so just drop the 2x just deserts.

I'm very interested in hearing how this turns out!
 
yeah i'll just drop the just desserts and do u think i should change anything else, also i didn't get a chance to play the deck last weekend and i won't be able to do it this weekend cuz i'm going on vacation but when i get back i'll be all over test playing this deck
 
I like the Toon Cannon Soldier idea. It would be much easier to search for instead of Mystic Tomatoes, since that clashes with Macro Cosmos.
