A Strong Levl 2 Normal Deck

Yikes.

You're missing some staples, specifically Snatch Steal. Also missing Mokey Mokey and his Mokey Mokey Smackdown. I'd base a low level deck on that personally. I'm not going to edit this deck because it would take about an hour. Maybe later. :D

He does not need to use Staples nor does he need to use Mokey Mokey. It is about time people realize there were other cards, like Clown Zombie that is a LV2 1350 monster.

Staples are necessities, so yes, it is a need.

And yes, Clown Zombie is a LV2 1350 ATK monster. Does that mean the deck will win? Are his opponents going to see his 2 Starred 1350 ATK wonder and put their hand over their decks and surrender? I don't mean to be rude, but this deck needs some work. And I've made my suggestions.

Wow. Simply wow. If that is what you think, every Deck must have the staples because they are necessities, just wow. I feel sorry for you. I hate to see the Decks you come up with. The point remains he did not go for a Mokey Mokey Deck. He went for a LV2 Normal Deck. It will win. It will lose. No Deck is perfect, neither are yours. Another suggestion I forgot to mention was that Quick-Play Spell Card, cannot remember off the top of my head for him to use but it was called Order to Smash or Order to Charge. It is one of them. In closing, you do not need staples to win. While they make things easier to flat out rely on just staples just means you never evolved and will never adjust to using anything else but CC.

List of cards I think he should consider:

Soul Resurrection
Pot of Avarice
Chthonian Alliance
United We Stand
Order to Smash or Charge (the Quick-Play one)
Infernal Reckless Summoning (whenever it comes out in the TCG)
The Heart of the Underdog

Those are just some off the top of my head aside from my first suggestions. Then there are some cards you could probably use like Heavy Storm, Dark Hole, Gravity Bind, Level Limit Area B, etc.

Personally, I would try to get that IMT to chain to Law of Normal and get a bigger mons or mataza (if you run more levels/binds/messengers) to actually beat the opponent quicker since your monsters aren't exactly screaming lp loss once they field any commonly played 4 star, so what you do need for a consistent win (especially games 2/3) is Thousand Energy.

And Tiso, this isn't the casual decks area, this deck needs 6-7 cards to pull off its combo and a shaky combo at that. This deck will have a hard time winning just cause a law of normal only doesn't give you that much, a topdeck mons will pretty much win it for the opponent. 2 cards missing imo, Last Will and Reasoning (no one in their right mind would call 2 stars unless they want you summon a monster at least game 1 anyways). Games 2 and 3, good luck winning those...

EDIT: Forgot to say this, I did see a low level monster deck in action online in a YVD tourney, and it did win round one. BUT it was mokey smackdown deck back in the last oct bans.

You obviously don't know what staples are. :) And also, don't go insulting the decks "I build" haha. I made a simple suggestion. And I'm going to hold to it. And you're right, this deck will lose. But no it will not win. From the way I see it built, it won't win. This forum is meant to make decks BETTER. And if adding staples will make it better (WHICH IT WILL BY THE WAY) Then so be it. But of course if you think this deck is good already and can hold it's own against the toughest of duelists, explain why. The bar I set when I mess with decks is being able to hold it's own in regional play. Play with the "Big Dogs" if you're only playing for fun, you don't need a good deck. So don't blame me for trying to make this deck better than it is.

Now onto the deck, it's Order to Charge, Order to Smash has Dark Ruler on it. :p When the next pack comes out, this deck is going to be coolie cool with all the triplicate support that's coming out. But unfortunately, unless I dismantle this deck, I can't make it any better. If I tinker with it, it will tranform into a different theme (maybe).

I know what staples are. You want him to use crap like Bottomless Trap Hole, Sakuretsu Armor, Cyber Dragon, Dust Tornado, Snatch Steal, Breaker the Magical Warrior, Mobius the Frost Monarch, D.D. A to Z, and so on. He does not need it. You do not need to make every Deck with Staples as the main focus. I think the fact you flat out said it would not win just proves how arrogant you are. I bet your Decks are all CC in nature and you only care about winning. If you are going to flat out tell someone that their Deck sucks, which you basically did be prepared to have your Decks mocked since it is clear they probably are if you cannot think outside of using staples. To the original poster who posted his/her Deck. Keep at this Deck. It is a hard Deck to use, I have tried. But if you do not give up on it and keep improving it without you losing its heart I am certain you will win your duels. Do not believe me? My Grotto Deck, as in Rock Ogre Grotto, Steel Ogre Grotto, etc beat to this day a: Mill Deck, a Legendary Demon Uria Deck, a Crowler Deck (with all the Ancient Gear setup and machine support), and a D.D. Deck. So I am certain his Deck cannot do any worse. Oh and just so you know, I was playing against OCG users with a TCG ban list Deck that used all the Grottos.

Whoa calm down guys lets not get another locked topic. The deck still doesn't look too promising although beating a burn deck is interesting. And Tiso, you can work on a deck all you want, its gonna win eventually, just not as often as some of the staple heavy decks out there. And if you think Dust Tornado is staple, :\ but thats besides the point. Absird who exactly you are playing against while testing this deck?

I played against myself with he Pierce (I "ramdomly" destoyed things.)

My friend (who is a judge like me) used my VWXYZ/Dark World deck. After winning he used his deck and lost. The I used my main deck (I knew it was gonna win)
