A Tier 1 Deck ... Almost ... CC? ... for April 1st

The Syndicate...
Semi Flip Flop after April 1st

Alright guys.
I havent posted much on CoG for a while.
After attending the Long Beach SJC, it got me thinking for the next format, since it was only a week away and what not. So here is my latest deck that i have come up with.
The Deck total is 43. Might be one more card than usual for most of you guys, but i learned to live with it. :)
The sidedeck is my own special twist. Works nicely, if the player knows what they are doing.

Monsters 20
Cyber Dragon
Cyber Dragon
Chaos Sorcerer
Chaos Sorcerer
Mobius the Frost Monarch
Zaborg the Thunder Monarch
Blowback Dragon

Gravekeeper's Spy
Gravekeeper's Spy
Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive
Skelengel
Spirit Reaper
Magician of Faith
Magician of Faith
Treeborn Frog
Sangan
Tsukuyomi
Magical Merchant
Breaker the Magical Warrior
D.D. Warrior Lady

Spells 11
Heavy Storm
Mystical Space Typhoon
Snatch Steal
Premature Burial
Nobleman of Crossout
Nobleman of Crossout
Book of Moon
Pot of Avarice
Brain Control
Confiscation
Graceful Charity

Traps 12
Dust Tornado
Dust Tornado
Dust Tornado
Sakuretsu Armor
Sakuretsu Armor
Sakuretsu Armor
Bottomless Trap Hole
Bottomless Trap Hole
Mirror Force
Deck Devastation Virus
Torrential Tribute
Call of the Haunted

Sidedeck 15
Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch
Sand Moth
Sand Moth
Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World
Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World
Ceasefire
Scapegoat
Swords of Revealing Light
Spell Shield Type-8
Spell Shield Type-8
Deck Devastation Virus
D.D. Warrior
D.D. Warrior
Mask of Darkness
D.D. Scout Plane

Now i took out Exiled Force, because for me its waste of summon in my own opinion. Although its effect is very versitlie, i wouldnt need to use it because of DDV, and its effect would most likely cripple my oppenents deck.

I took out Swords of Revealing Light because its a -1 when you play it. I moved it to the sideboard, because there are better cards that can be used instead.

The idea of using Lightning Vortex crossed my mind once or twice. I was thinking of using it as i could discard a monster for Chaos food, or discard a Treeborn Frog and utilize its effect. Still thinking on that though. I might also sideboard Airknight Parshath, as draw power is always nice.

The pair of D.D. Warrior(s) that i put in the sideboard are for removing potential threats, like a face-down Sand Moth, Treeborn Frog, or another nasty threat. I perfer these over D.D. Assailant, as these can remove a face down def monster. :D

Well the deck is still rough. I want to fit one more D.D. Scout Plane to the sideboard, as NoC is now in 2's and its good for my tributes. Any ideas are welcome.
Thanks again.,
-Neil.

In my honest opinion:

Flip-flop is dead.
Well not quite so. Thats why i sideboard Spell Shield Type-8. But also, i see 2 NoC's as more of a dead draw. Even though its at 2, by the time they activate it, I will have already flipped my monster faceup.

And for the case that i do get owned with 2 NoC, i will just side in my stuff (D.D. Scout Plane(s), Spell Shield(s),...,) and other things and get rid of the flipers.

This deck isnt really a flip flop deck... its more or less a deck trying to utilize DDV. And from continous testing, it has proven to be a strong deck (testing with the best @ Day 2 of SJC, and some of the best players @ Sac).

But i do agree with your thoughts.
Thanks for your input. :)

Your deck is fat. 43 card deck is bad IMO.

And although there's 2x NoC now, NoC is one of the worst top-deck card ever. (I'm putting the 2nd NoC as sidedeck for me) And he got his flip effects pretty diversed out so it's fine IMO. Although not too sure about 2x MoF while you only have 11 spells.

IMO, cut 1x MoF and add Mask of Darkness. You have 12 traps. That way, it's more diverse to soften the blow of NoC and you can also reuse your traps along with spell cards.

And I prefer Magic Drain over Spell Shield.

And man, you have 2x DDW? Those things are EXPENSIVE!

Flip-flop is dead.

Flip-Flop STARTED in last april first format when there was 2 Nobleman of Crossout. last april first format is when people STARTED abusing flip monsters and using tsukoyomi.

any attempt to point to 2 Nobleman of Crossouts and saying flip-flop is dead is invalidated by this fact.

Personally, i think they semi limited nobleman again because the format ENCOURAGES flip-flop and they don't want it be the only option and run rampant without backlash.
