I need to get the deck to 40/41 please. Any suggestions for removal/additions are greatly appreciated (Dillie-O I'm looking at you!!!). I haven't yet acquired a Treeborn Frog, that's why it isn't in. Thanks in advance....

Looks pretty good. How is End of Anubis working in this deck? I notice a couple of conflicts with his effect. <Tomatos, Newdoria, etc..>

I also only see a few monsters that don't conflict with Messenger of Peace. If you are looking for stall, I have recently been converted to Wall of Revealing Light. Expensive, but I can shut down an opponent for a while if they can't clear it.

Any thoughts to adding Giant Germs to speed the Necrofear summoning or using Return from the Different Dimension or Dimension Fusion to bring the Fiends back?

I would consider removing the End of Anubis, the Mimic Lv3s, DDWL or X-Force and lose 1 Solemn Judgement. Another Newdoria can be added to be searched by Tomato or swapped for the effect. This format is more aggressive so you may want to consider Sak Armors or a Magic Cylinder, plus maybe a Ceasefire to help keep the Cyber Stein players at bay.

I like the deck. I think you may just need a few personal tweaks to handle the additional aggression.

End actually works really, really well, besides the conflicting graveyard effects. He saved me a few times by just limiting my opponents options and having them stare down a big 2500 atk monster with 3 solemn judgments set = lol GG.

The wall of revealing light... I dunno... Lp in my deck is really, really scarce thanks to 3 solemn and the reason I love Messenger is because it saves me from jinzo when all I have is a mimic lv1 waiting to level up.

Are the dark mimic lv3's not competitive? That's my new Pot of greed lol. Opponent kills mystic I go for lv1 then my turn level up to level 3. But how to get down to 40?

I wouldn't say DMlv3s aren't competitive, but this format seems to be a lot more attacking monsters than the previous formats. I would consider adding a set of Germs to help your field presence. Your meta may differ. ;)

I forgot about the LP payments with SJ.:rolleyes Wall would be a bad idea since it usually only effective if you go with a 3K payment.

I like running EoA too, especially against a recruiter-heavy deck. At only one I can see it working, especially if played carefully. Most people just don't see him coming and aren't ready for the effect.

Lol I knw. End of Anubis laughs at Zombie and Dark World decks lol.

So remove the Lv3's and add germs. That would put me at 46? I'm trying to go down lol!

Back to the fiends eh? Good to see it! I'm honored that you'd be seeking my advice...

A few thoughts looking at the deck... Drop Necrofear to 1. I know Necro-Return is a popular option currently, but often enough having two Necrofears gives you a dead draw unless you're doing some heavy work to make the graveyard fill with fiends.

I don't know how well the Mimics are working for you, but I've been looking at running 1 of each for a draw engine. You get the benefit of the flips and the destroyed in battle angles without overdoing it. If things get a little slow, you don't want to have a Mimic clog on the field. 8^D

If you're not running DDV, could you swap out the Giant Orcs for GEAFs? They make excellent Cyber Dragon killers and have more power to them. I'm not sure if three Solemn Judgements is as handy in the current meta, what about keeping 1 and putting in a Threatening Roar and Magic Cylinder instead? I think they give you some more versatility and will also help against the OTK decks out there.

Unfortunately I have to run (kids to take care of) but i'll try to catch up on this later in the week. Hope this helps!

Sorry! I don't usually do the pluses and minuses. You know your deck's tendencies better than me so I just toss out ideas without taking any real responsibility. :p

Hello...here, duelist101!

Post this up in the Lair and you might find some other Fiend lovers out to help you.

As for the deck itself, I do agree that Mimics are awesome, but when you are at 45 cards, their effects are simply trying to counter thier own presence in clogging up your draws.

Right now, decks are moving fast. There is a lot of monster removal followed by quick 2 summons and attack. I have been having a good old time with multiple Newdorias as a counter. Its not proof against effect removal, but it does help control the swarm attacks.

Since you arent running a Return variant, and your main thin/search effect is Tomato and not Giant Germs, I too would suggest reducing Necrofear to 1 copy.

drop at least 1 Solemn Judgment altogether and put a 2nd in the side. With that room, you can add a Pot of Avarice. This will help with some of the Graveyard monsters and your draw effects, since Im asking you to reduce the Mimics.

Night Assailant here is a sideboard card. As good as its effect is, I don't see any way for you to control its recursion effect other than Graceful Charity. So you are depending on what your opponent may do to you. That signals "side deck", to me.

Anyways, I have to run and eat. See you in the Lair and good luck on torturing Trinidad with your Fiends!
