Airknight Parshath LOD-062

Airknight Parshath
Light/5/Atk1900/Def1400
[Fairy/Effect]
When this card attacks with an ATK higher than the DEF of your opponent's Defense Position monster, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, draw 1 card from your Deck.

Very poular card in Control-Styled decks. You never want to be the one top decking Sinister Serpent with 3 Scapegoat tokens as a last defense when Airknight Parshath is out in play. The card advantage this monsters places a player is just crazy. Thinning out your deck, getting through some bad top decks, and not to mention it can overflow with damage against defenses if with a higher attack.

It's a Level 5 as well, not to mention it's a Light, for Chaos decks or for the ever so popular Metamorphosis. So go ahead and bring out the Dark Balter the Terrible if your feeling uncomfortable.

Great solid monster, with a very, very impressive effect. No drawbacks really, only that it can be a potential Top Deck, but that's about it. The 1 Tribute for this monster to be summoned isn't bad either, the effect is worth it.

Uh, no one replied to the review of this nice card. Bad guys out there ;)

Trample is nice, 1900 ATK useful agains most defense position monsters, but against monsters in attack position, Airknight will loose most of the time, obviously. Combine it with cards that change battle position (to defense position).

Drawing one card after inflicting battle damage would not be half that good if without trample.

It's like taking Spear Dragon, removing it's drawback (it's own battle position change), adding a new one (level 5) and a positive effect (draw). :D

its all good till you look at the level then its like crap
but on the other hand trample and draw is great against f/d monsers

overall it get 4/5 both formats
(to me)

LoL, I am sad, :( Well not really. :)

But the reason why this thread hasn't gotten any replies, because I have already made and Airknight Parshath thread a long time ago. I just thought I would make one up to now, as the game has changed rapidly, but not how playable this monster is.

I wouldn't say it has no drawbacks. There's a very obvious one, it's pathetic attack. Back in the day that wasn't a big deal, but now there's countless level 4 cards that will own this.

If only it had a few hundred extra attack points...
