Anyone Else Trapped at CoG?

I can connect here, obviously, but I can't connect to any other website I try. Not even Yahoo! or Google. Anyone else stuck here at the moment?
 
Try pinging Google by IP and see if it responds.

Or try hitting the Google page by IP instead of by name.

There was a short DNS outage here in Texas yesterday around this time. You might be experiencing the same thing.

It seems I'm getting it back, but only in spurts. For a while there, I couldn't connect to anything that wasn't cogonline. Ever notice that even an e-terrorist is at the most, just a nuisance. :D
 
The Internet, she is like the sea ... a fickle creature repleat with fish, mammals, plants, and of course, SPAM.

Microsoft released some patches today. We can blame them. Perhaps one of those "I have waaaaaaay too much time on my hands" 0-day exploits or something.

Either that or sombody kicked a plug for a router out of the wall. My service is more like that.

Unless you use their loverly automagic update. 2 of my 5 PCs got it today, only Bill knows when the other 3 will decide to fix themselves.

Sorry, that was me. I was cleaning out my computer and I think I accidentally deleted part of the internet. Good thing that ctrl-Z thing works. *whew*

Hey, I remember that thread, too!
 
Once again, I'm trapped at CoG. I can't link to anything else. Not netrep, not eonpresspresents, my Google Spell Check won't connect, not even Outlook can find its servers. That doesn't make any sense that this would be the only site I can connect to. Offsite images are probably stored on my computer somewhere, because if I try to load their host sites, they don't.
