Armed to the teeth

Hi ED

Well first thing i see what is with so many LV5?

It shoud be...

Lv3 x3
Lv5 x2
Lv7 x1
Lv10 x1

you don't want too many tributes in your hand i had too learn that the hard way.

Why a wing beat of giant dragon?
just use the classicly Heavy Storm and Giant Trunade cause they would be more useful than wing beat of giant dragon cause you are loosin Armed Dragon LV5 or higher when you activte wing beat.

Well thats my opinion so far and to finish it all up get rid of 1 Trap Jammer and replace it with a sakuretsu armour.

Hope this helps

Ok i know this will seem random but..... I WILL NEVER USE Sakuretsu Armor EVER!!!!!! Its too damn widely used. i hate it.

Thing about armed dragons is its easy enough to get them out just hard to keep them out. thats why so many lvl 5s. Also with wingbeat ya send one back to the hand for a moment to get rid of any spell or trap worries. Trap Jammers are there to stop my mons getting saked and/or mirrored.

As you might be able to tell ive tried to do my best to have enough magic and trap to stop their magic and trap that my dragons might survive on the field for a bit to do some damage.

Quick question, are you meaning for this to be just a fun deck or are you wanting to use it for tournament play? Your decision here affects my judgment for card selections and such. At the moment, I think you've gone a little overboard on the dragon theme, even for a casual deck.

No i want this for tournament play and im completely serious with it. And i didnt go overboard on the dragon theme. Dragon deck dragon cards simple.

Alright, well if you want this to be competitive in tournament play you're gonna have to make some changes. So yeah, lets address the monsters first...

-Baby Dragon
-Lizard Soldier
-Element Dragon
-Armed Dragon LV10
-Luster Dragon
-Twin-Headed Behemoth
-Mirage Dragon
+Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast(Can be summoned with effect and great fodder for AD)
+Sangan(Masked Dragon, LV3, and Treeborn can quickly be obtained)
+Treeborn Frog(Opens up the possibility of normal summoning LV5)
+Breaker the Magical Warrior(Just an overall great card)
+2 Spear Dragon(Trample is too good to pass up and its a beatstick for AD)
+Mystic Swordsman LV2(Never hurts to have something for them pesky f/d monsters)

Sure it takes away the dragon flare a bit, but it will definately be a bit better. Now onto the spells...

-All dragon related spells except Stamping Destruction
-Level Modulation
-Soul Exchange
-Different Dimension Capsule
-Reasoning
-Rising Air Current
-The Graveyard in the Fourth Dimension
-Giant Trunade
+Metamorphosis(Can't express the greatness of this card with AD, especially being able to get King Dragun to special summon LV5 or Balter to rid yourself of a f/d monster)
+Level Up!(One isn't enough and three is overkill, so go with two)
+Dark Hole(No reason not to be here)
+Brain Control(Many uses, steal and sac or just attack)
+Nobleman of Crossout(F/d monsters can really hurt)
+Snatch Steal(Just too good not to use)
+Pot of Avarice(Does the job of TGitFD a lot better)

A few less spells to help balance the deck out, as well as dropping most of the dragon stuff with can hurt to draw if you have no dragons on the field. Next we have the traps...

-2 Trap Jammer
-The Dragon's Bead
+Torrential Tribute(Mass removal is always good)
+2 Widespread Ruin(Since you refuse to run Sakuretsu Armor, go with the next best thing, but if you don't like these try Trap Hole and Bottomless Trap Hole)

Forget about that much trap negation, is not needed that much. Anyways, I'm done with this for now. To make it easier for you, I'll post an updated list.

Well, I slimmed the deck down just a bit which will make it a little more competitive while adding in cards that wont be such dead draws. Well thats it for me, hopefully I helped out in some way or form.

Uh, no Zarken, you max your AD lv 5 and reduce the numbers of lvl 3/7/10 (or just don't run them at all)

And Armed Dragon needs discard food. Good choices are 3x Thunder Dragon. (discard 1, get 2x AD food) Another good choice is Fusilier Duel-Mode, it's a 2800ATK 7 star monster, but you don't have to tribute summon, but just regular summon. (Of course, if you do it this way, it's ATK is halved into 1400ATK monster. But when you discard it with AD, that won't occur and thus it'll destroy any monster.)

i HATE SAKURETSUS too...what ive been using is Waboku....it would work perfectly for armed dragons...protects lv 3 if u dont have anything else...plus its chainable, and u dont get any damage...i love it...^_^

Ok first for oskar. i know you are trying to help and this must seem very ignorant and whatnot but i will not move from my theme and thus i cannot run things like dual-mode aka a machine, breaker aka a spellcaster, treeborn aka an aqua Sangan aka a fiend and mystic aka a warrior. its just the way i am. A theme is a theme for a reason. So the cards can play off each other to best effect. i cant compromise on this.

Also why would i wanna get rid of lv10 a Mirage Dragon and twin-headed. These are some of the best and most useful cards for this deck. Mirage makes sak armors useless against us. Lv10 clears their side of the field and twin-headed comes back from the dead as tribute fodder.

Now lets look at your spell suggestions......

All dragon related spells except Stamping Destruction this choice confuses me as the dragon cards are useful and definately worth it.
Level Modulation brings back my correctly summoned lvl7 and 10. I do believe it needs to stay at at least 2
Soul Exchange i need tribute fodder so why not use my opponents monsters?
Different Dimension Capsule i need a way to make sure i have lvl10 in my hand. This is as good a way as any.
Reasoning the reason for the low level monsters is this. With a varied level number then i can play this and have a better chance of it working in my favour and make the deck play faster.
Rising Air Current why wouldnt i wanna power up my big guys with this?
The Graveyard in the Fourth Dimension ok i dont know why ya dont see this as useful but in my opinion it is. the only ones i would want or need back are the ads
Giant Trunade needed for s/t removal from field when my heavy hitters attack same as wingbeat and whatnot.
Metamorphosis( Will side deck it until i get a copy of King Dragun
Level Up!(One is always enough. remember leveling up means no Level Modulation when ya need it most.
Dark Hole( april 1st banned nuff said
Brain Control( why use that when i already have Soul Exchange and will have snatch too. not useful
Nobleman of Crossout( Always useful he can go in
Snatch Steal( i suppose its worthy of being in to help steal a guy for tribute . normally I wouldnt be up against an opponet worth stealing cos he has higher atk power.
Pot of Avarice recycling isnt that good an idea here. If theyre in the graveyard chances are the game is nearly over anyway. AD plays fast and hard when its in full swing. Will side deck it instead incase of people making me discard a lot.

Traps now.

-2 Trap Jammer I suppose with mirage they aint needed too much but if mirage aint on the field what then?
-The Dragon's Bead its useful and well worth it. i dont understand your problem with the card
+Torrential Tribute(Mass removal is not always good when my monsters go bye bye too.
+2 Widespread Ruin(isnt always the best choice. i think i may choose Bottomless Trap Hole instead)

Um.... isn't lv10 a bit much yeah he looks good but there is really no point to use him when lv7 is just as good (kinda), since you like the hole dragon theme then why not use Horus hes got a good effect.... just an idear.

i will be designing a deck around horus once i get all the lower levels of him as of now i only have lv8.

And 10s effect is much better than 7

7 destroys face up monsters with atk equal to or less than the sent monster card you discard. What if you have no monster cards or if ya only have weak ones? 10 sends any random cards and kills every face up. Its a reusable Lightning Vortex.
