Assault on GHQ FET-EN056

Now, for the next card of the week, Assault on GHQ!!
Assault on GHQ
Normal Trap

Select 1 monster on your side of the field to activate this card. Destroy the selected card and send 2 cards from the top of your opponent's Deck to the Graveyard.

Ah Assault on GHQ, that misunderstood card. You can destroy any tokens you have, and this card combos well with Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys, Mind Control, Scapegoat, etc.

Sorry for the brief review, but I'm REALLY busy today.
Rated for a deck out or Phoenix deck: 4/5

Sinister Serpent, mecha dog maron, . also work its pretty good but probably won't see as much play as i want it to in the regionals

overall its about 2.5 in any deck
there's better stuff

Still, this is just more options for your deck-out decks. It's a nice little card that has some good potential.

It was quite fun at the Flaming Eternity sneak preview. Especially with Mecha-Dog Marron ;)

It's not only about deck out. You can destroy a monster with it ! Say goodbye to that nasty Ojama Token ! Don't want to keep your opponent's snatch steal'd monster, just destroy it with assault on the GHQ... This card is really fun !

Not to mention you can use it on a monster you took with "Mind Control"!

If I can't attack or tribute it, then neither will you! Ha!, I'll just destroy it! Oh, and BTW..go ahead and put the two cards on the top of your deck in the Graveyard as well!...:p

I love this card!

Scapgegoats taking too much space? Play this for some crazy card eco... Teach that opponent who slow plays your Scapes :p

This card isn't really useful... I mean yeah you can use it on your opponents monsters in some cases, however, you will more than likely be costing yourself 2 resources to their one. As far as most people are concerned the deck isn't a direct resource and losing part of it is no big deal. Rarely do games go to deck out. If you are running a deck out deck, then this seems like a possible addition, but otherwise stick to something else. Only a few things of yours seem worth tributing for it, Sinister Serpent, Scapegoat, or maybe Sangan, but the card doesn't really give you enough advantage to warrant that.
