Attack Question

Ok, here is the situation:

Player A attacks with their monster.
Player B responds with "Enemy Controller".
Player A chains with "Zero Gravity".

Now, here is my question....after this chain resolves, since the monster is still in ATK, will his attack continue, or would his attack stop, and then he would not be able to attack again because he already attempted one attack.

Axctually I believe that Duelist A would just declare his attack again and it would go through without interuption, unless Duelist B activates something else that is.

No thsi situation would not work as the Monster would now be on Player B's side of the field.

Player A's Enemy Controller can not take back control of his own monster as its not on the opponents side of the field yet.

Sorry I wasn't clear enough.

Let me re-state the question (I just noticed errors with it).

Player A attacks with their monster.
Player B responds with "Enemy Controller".
Player A chains with "Zero Gravity".

Now, does the attack continue as normal because the monster will be in attack position, or not?

Switching a monster to defense position doesn't trigger a replay (it will jsut stop the attack when the chain resolves) so if it gets switched back to attack position before the chain resolves it will continue as normal.

Densetsu: He is changing battle position.

DaGuyWitBluGlasses: I'm thinking that the attack stops when it goes to defence, but I don't know since what you said is a valid point and was brought up on the forum this situation happened.

Love posing questions....

chains... in the stated event above, wouldn't the turn player (player A) get automatically
set as chain link 1 and therefore 'enemy controller' would be in chain link 2 thus resolving
first? If so, oh boy, someone has to answer this one for me, HOW can the turn player
'responding' (meaning 2nd action to the first action) get chain link 1, wouldn't it impossible
for him to 'chain' zero gravity as the first link to a card that hasn't been played yet?

I know it works this way on the pc game 'Power of Chaos', just would like someone to explain
to me how it's possible to be first in line when you were in fact last in line??? And please,, no
one lecture me on LIFO or FIFO, I'm a programming as well..

I think the attack still goes trough because after the chain link resolves, the attacking monster is still in attack position. Just my thought :D

The only reason Zero Gravity or Enemy Controller (1st effect) stops an attack is because the monster can't continue the attack from a defense position (unless they are Total Defense Shogun). So being changed from attack to defense and defense back to attack has no bearing on whether or not the attack continues, just the position being right at the end so it can move on to damage calculation.
