Ball of Wording Wickedness

"The Wicked Avatar" is an interesting monster to have to deal with. New from the Shonen Jump, it's ATK value is always recalculating, and difficult to figure out sometimes.

This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set except by Tributing 3 monsters. Your opponent cannot activate Spell or Trap Cards until the end of their 2nd turn after this card is Normal Summoned. The ATK and DEF of this card are each 100 points higher than the highest ATK on the field (except "The Wicked Avatar")

My question is, if certain decreases/increases are activated what affect do they have?

Examples Include:
 • "Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger"'s effect
 • "Shrink"
 • "A" Counters
 • "Limiter Removal" (While Surgery is active.)
 • "Cybernetic Magician"

From what I'm assuming, The Wicked Avatar will ALWAYS have the highest ATK on the field. For your examples, let me see if I can clarify:

 • Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger: If Topaz Tiger attacked Wicked Avatar, after it got it's ATK boost, Wicked Avatar would get one too. So Topaz Tiger would be at 2000, while Wicked Avatar is 2100 (assuming they're the only 2 monsters on the field).
 • Shrink: It's ATK will just go back to the way it was after it has been targeted by Shrink.
 • "A" Counters: I can't even answer, since "A" Counters have confusing rulings now. Seriously, that sux.
 • Limiter Removal: Once again, it will have the Highest ATK. If a Chimeratech is at 16,000 for some odd reason, Wicked Avatar will have 16,100.
 • Cybernetic Magician: Want to waste a discard? Use his effect on Wicked Avatar! He'll just bounce right back to 2500 (assuming they're the only 2 on the field).
I'm pretty sure that's how it works.
