why is BLS-envoy rules that you can activate it's effect in the battle phase? I though it was a ignition effect

i made a OTK Fire Princess deck, then the tool for it got banned.
3x Fire Princess
3x Gearfreed the Iron Knight
2x Last Will
2x Iron blacksmith
2x UFO Turtle
1x butter fly dagger elma
3x Moral Boost
3x Spell Absorption
and it really worked.

Your opponent has two monsters on the field.
You have a face down Giant Rat.
He attacks, you Waboku.
Your turn, you set another Giant Rat.
His turn, he summons another monster and attacks a face down Rat and destroys it.
You search for another Rat.
Which ever monster he attacks now will bring be destroyed and bring out another Rat.
For his third attack you use the Rat to bring out the Clown.
Your turn summon another clown and let the stupidness begin.

oic.. i am sure he doesnt have a giant rat... its just the mataza that pisses me off and the fwiggin stumblings lol
Well obviously your OTK was a hit cuz it was cheap and it was stupid really just like that stupid magical scientist OTK god i hated that the most. I actually liked Butterfly Dagger Elma it was a good equip spell card. I love fire princess it is like the BEST card of all great effect. Now wish they make a Fire Queen. Im not sure what effect it would have but something equal to fire princess but not too sucky and not too good either.. i dont want it to be abused.

So it whats the real ruling you have to declare you want use the double attacking effect in MP1 or you could just activate it in the battle phase once you destroy a monster?I think the effect on 2005 is used in the OCG since the games are made there but if thats the case why isnt it the same here?

Giant Rat, Dream Clown, and Stumbling is the basic combo for this deck. Your friends should try it.
Injection works well in a Disruption Deck too, along with Kinetic Soldiers as such with Giant Rat combos well with.
