Sorry if this seems petty, but I know I've read that if the monster is flipped face down while being targeted by Call of the Haunted then if Call is later destroyed, the monster is safe from Call's destroy effect due to being flipped down. However, I ran into a case where the ruling given to me was the exact opposite (I had flipped Des Lacooda face down then back face up during my turn after having Call special summon it during the end of my opponent's previous turn, then when they played Heavy Storm the turn following mine, the head judge ruled that Call did not stop affecting Lacooda despite having been turned face down and as such was dragged down with Call). The main thing I'm looking for is confirmation one way or the other(my side being that since the monster in question was face down, Call cannot target it in this state and effectively "forgets" that the creature was affected by it [sorry for the poor word choice]). If I was wrong, please tell me so. Also, in either case, could someone please direct me to somewhere that I would be able to print the ruling in the off chance that this occurs again. I can't seem to find a ruling regarding either case anywhere.
