Well, this game is coming out on USA on 3/20 in USA (And 3/15 in Japan)

I gotta admit, some of these cards are gunna be so huge that it's gunna be on DDA level IMO.

The cards that's coming out

Cards in it: (Just in case you didn't know)

WC07-JP001 Magic Striker
EARTH/Warrior "“ Effect/3/600/200
This card can be Special Summoned by removing 1 Magic Card from your Graveyard. This card can attack the opponent directly. Battle Damage to this card's controller from a battle involving this card becomes 0.

WC07-JP002 Bomber Dragon
EARTH/Dragon "“ Effect/3/1000/0
When this card is destroyed by Battle and sent to the Graveyard, destroy the monster that destroyed this card. When this card attacks, Battle Damage to both players becomes 0.

WC07-JP003 D-Hero Disc Guy
DARK/Warrior - Effect/1/300/300
When this card is successfully Special Summoned from your Graveyard, draw 2 cards from your deck.

--------

All three are good. But IMO the ones that gunna have CC level meta impact is gunna be the D-Hero Disc Guy. Diamond Dude Turbo is popular, although a "dying breed" card of 1x Stratos/Dimension Fusion ruling. But still, it still made 2nd place even after the march banlist. And now we get another D-Hero monster that is good as Malicious. I mean, draw 2 cards is just sick. Not just the card use of Premature/CotH, but combo this with Fear Monger and it gets totally whacked. And after drawing 2x cards, you can probably tribute it with Monster Gate or a tribute monster. I don't know, it might replace Diamond Dude Turbo into "Fear Monger Turbo". Too bad it must be from the graveyard. Or else people will add him in Tomatos and Dasher/Reasoning/MonsterGate combo with Discguy would be utterly broken good. (And thus probably why it must be from graveyard special summon.)

And another card that's equally good is Bomber Dragon. It's a LV3 Dragon, meaning it fits the bill for Cyberdark theme deck. (1000ATK is a bit weak compared to Masked/THB though) And it's also fits the whole Masked Dragon recruiter deck that comes with Cyberdark theme. Heck, they FINALLY got something other then THB to search for dragon recruiter. I mean, it kills ANYTHING by card effect along with no battle damage to boot. And it's an Earth so Rat Control. (Eek, first Grand Mole, then 3x Lily/Exiled and now THIS dude... why is Rat Control getting more powerful by the minute?) I mean, kill anything you don't like by suicide, and it's safe since no LP damage to you.

BTW, both Bomber Dragon and Discguy appeared in the TV show in America right? (Bomber Dragon was used by Zane against Sy, and Discguy was used by Aster against Sartorius) So what are the english names for them?

Hmmm, a WARRIOR that can attack directly. So, Queens Double mixed with Amazoness Fighter. Another staple for Warriors

Spell Striker's a no-brainer. Instant Side Deck or Main Deck Staple (now that Magician of Faith is gone).

Opps. I mean, 3/15 on JPN and 3/20 on USA. (Sorry for the mishap)

Wait, Spell Striker is only 600ATK, not to mention it'll die next turn. (Although no battle damage by it's effect) I won't consider a warrior staple.

Maybe you didnt notice that he can be "Special Summoned" by removing a Spell Card from your Graveyard??

Sounds like easy Tribute to me....

Would Exploder Dragon (Bomber Dragon)'s effect be similar to Waboku when he attacks? i.e. since battle damage is 0 for both monsters, no monsters are destroyed?

Battle Damage to "players", not monsters, becomes 0. That means the monsters are still destroyed if the conditions are met, ie, lower ATK vs higher ATK.

Thanks for catching that... phew! I thought it would be a wierd card that could attack and attack and nothing would ever happen unless someone wanted to waste a Mirror Force, etc. on it.

Yeah, the funny thing about Exploder Dragon is that it just cannot do battle damage. So even if your foe have a blank field, attacking it directly is meaningless since it'll drop to 0.

And oh yeah, it's "battle damage to 0" is only when you attack with Exploder Dragon, not when Exploder Dragon gets attacked by foe. So yeah, for Rat Control, this thing will be exactly the same as Yomi Ship. But for Masked Dragon, you can special summon it on DEF position to bypass the LP damage.

Yeah, I kinda did noticed the "special summon from hand" part. And yeah, I guess you can use it like Cyber Dragon instead of the direct attack part. (i.e. instant 2x swarm, or Jinzo/Monarch tribute) I'm not saying it's bad, but still, not worth putting in main deck for everything like Cyber Dragon. (Maybe for Monarch Control, for easier tribute.)

The game's been pushed back to April (For the US at least) Hoepfully to correct someof the flaws that Spirit caller had in its WiFi.

The constant cheating and Disconnects are a major pain in the rear in that game.

I do care about the game. I hope there's also a National again here in the Netherlands, because I would like to win another trip to Japan (if the World Championship is held there, like the last 2 years).

Last I saw, Nintendo's site still has the game slated for a March 20 release. I haven't seen any spoiler information on the site though, which makes me think an April release is more likely.

Konami's US website states that it will be released on March 20th.
Konami's UK website states that it will be released in April.
Konami Netherlands' website doesn't state anything at all :(

A 600 attack warrior can do alot of damage. Maybe not by itself, but warrior boost pretty fast. In the right deck, he can 2400 or higher

And a Special Summon by only needing to remove a Spell makes for easy Tribute fodder. Anyone seen a price for this?
