i know i know, i was beign sarcastic. while both promos arent awfully great, which if you put into considering from the 3 the US players got the trap was the better one, in Europe atleast they got 2 that were good.

Hypnosis though cheesy its actually preaty good.

you can combo it with Zero Gravity so that they can keep their goats in attack, or keep all their monsters in defense for a few turns.

sometimes you want that Jinzo in defense but cant becuase you have to summon Tsukuyomi in order to do it.

well considering Konami relased the game and UDE had nothing to do with it, i think it was a matter of preference ::cough:: annoying people wanting the stupid thing ::cough::

really, it was just a wasted space, and if you go to anysite non of them have it for sale, its not even worthy of the title DOD-EN001

see there it is. :D labeled as DOD-EN001

its called mesmeric Control aswell, i had forgotten that it wasnt hypnosis in the TCG.

I seen it in person, i was gonna buy it too, it was only 5 dollars but i didnt do it :( now i wish i could have, i might buy it next time i find one. and yes they are extremely rare considering they were only shipped to europe.

I've both the US and the European sets! :eek:rc1:

About time they treated Europe to some region exclusive promos, before this the US had gotten access to the original DDS cards (Dark Magician, Exodia & Blue Eyes White Dragon) & the Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon set, and were also a set ahead of those of us in Europe in terms of the promos that were issued with each game (the 2nd set of DDS cards, were given with the next game not DDS). As it is at the moment we also haven't been getting access to the SP-EN series cards since they don't tend to bother doing sneak peaks outside the US (finally seem to be starting though as I recently saw one listed, forget when and where it's going to be on, just remember that the time and place don't suit me so I'll have to pass unfortunately).

A lot of these cards are coming out in TP7 from what I hear (or TP8, I don't remember the #, but the next TP), with Dimensional Warrior as the Ultra, along with most of the type mass kills (last day of witch and the sort).

And some also in ELE and didnt 1 or 2 of the mentioned ones come out in CRV, just the names were different?

its stupid that they make TP Ultras insanely hard to get.

the fact that you cant / arnt allowed to buy TP packs makes it even harder.

depending what the commons in the next TP is i might just go and play at a tourney or just take them from people like i normally do. :D

I have two of them. I think it sucks myself, but it's helping me get some good trades.

Oh...my...God...

I would, lol. Besides, Torrential would be activated in response to the summon of the monster. Not in response to you activating it's effect.

I must echo Xeno's thoughts...

well yea, thats why.

one thing i want to point out though is that this card has to compete in an OCG enviroment not TCG, TCG you can say its the next levia dragon. But in OCG there are much better cards.

I can, eBay and then the main Irish TO is always selling them, only gives normal booster packs as prizes (except on the 1 or 2 occasions a year when a UDE staff member is present).

As much as I hate to say this, you are wrong, Jathro. Consider the following scenarion:
P1 sac two monsters to summon DDG. Fearing the opponent has Bottomless Trap Hole / Torrential, P1 does not use his or her priority.
P2 does not use priority either.
P1 is relieved, and proceeds to activate DDG's effect. WAIT! cries P2. You CAN'T activate the effect, because ONCE BOTH PLAYERS PASS PRIORITY, THE MAIN PHASE ENDS!!!

It is now too late to use the effect. Remeber, Duel Monsters is an event driven game, consisting entirely of consecutive chains and other events. You can't wait to see if the opponent will respond, you must acivate either DDG's effect, or some other effect (e.g. King Dragun's effect) IMMEDIATELY upon summing DDG, because if you don't, your opponent gets an opportunity to end the main phase.
-pssvr

Actually, it seems that DDG has an ignition effect and the player can choose to activate it whenever he wants - not immediately after a successful tribute summon.

Do I have to active Exiled Force immediately after I summon it? Nope. Seems like DDG would behave in the same way.

No, you don't have to activate it's effect as soon as you summon, but you must either activate SOMETHING, or pass priority. And if you pass priority, you're giving the opponent a chance to proceed to another phase. Because once both players pass priority consecutively, it's over.

No,

Your opponent never has the chance to proceed to another phase on his/her own.

And its not over when both players pass priority:
