Conflict with Magic Cylinder

A week or two ago, I had a conflict with someone over the usage of Magic Cylinder. My opponent attempted to use Magic Cylinder against my Magic Cylinder. I just need clarification on this, one Magic Cylinder cannot be used against another Magic Cylinder, is that correct?

I just want to make sure about this, because I'm sure it'll come up again in discussion.

so u can´t use magic cylinder against magic cylinder, because it is no attack

an MC reversing and already Cylindered attack cannot be done, seeing as what is sent back by the first Magic Cylinder is NOT an attack. So you were correct, cannot be done

What can be done to achieve what I assume your opponent was trying is to chain Barrel Behind The Door to your opponent's Magic Cylinder. This will redirect the damage back at your opponent.

Since "Magic Cylinder" does not create the damage itself, but reflects Battle Damage as "Effect Damage" to the opponent, another Magic Cylinder cannot be chained since it only reflects damage caused by battle and the first MC has converted it to effect damage, so it is not eligible.

Magic Cylinder Inflicts effect damage equal to an attacking monsters attack, it does this long before damage calculation. It has nothing to do with battle damage.

If you want to reflect "Magic Cylinder" then use "Barrel Behind the Door"

Magic Cylinder is a card I consider really funny (like Fake Trap), I would like to see it on the anime. I know it appeared in the yugi-slifer battle, but I would like to see what happens if you activate Magic Cylinder on Goblin Attack Force XD
