Two related questions.
1) Can Ultimate Offering be Activated during any allowable time during an opponents turn, or can it only be activated during your turns Main Phase 1 or 2. For example, can the non-turn player respond to a summons with Ultimate offering?
2) If a continous trap card is an ignition effect, and it is used to start or continue a chain, does the owner/player of the card get to activate the effect at time of activation, or does this type of effect only occur after the chain resolves. Example: During a declaration of an attack, the opponent responds with Shadow Spell. At resolution of the chain, can the card be ignited and target the attacking card, thus reducing its ATK points and stopping the attack. How about if Shadow Spell is activated during Damage Step? Can the owner also ignite during this step, and does is stop damage from being applied? Or does the effect have to be "Ignited" during the owners Main Phase 1 or 2?
