CotD Suggestions for the Next Couple Weeks

I don't know if there have been any talks about what to do for the next couple weeks (7/31 - 8/6 and 8/7 - 8/13). But with the CRV sneak-previews fast approaching, I think a week of Machine support followed by a week of brand-spankin' new CRV would be fun.

Machine week could feature all the good Machine monsters and support cards and then CRV week can be some of the best cards that were used and abused in limited at the sneak-previews. Heck, we could even do Emodiment of Apophis.

I gotta run now or I'd list some suggestions for Machine week, but any thoughts?

EDIT: Now that I have access again, here are some "popular" Machine cards that could be reviewed.

- Jinzo
- Reflect Bounder
- Limiter Removal
- Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast
- Kinetic Soldier
- Spell Canceller
- Heavy Mech Support Platform
- 7 Completed?
- X, Y, Z and the Fusions
- hmm, what else?
 
An EXCELLENT idea. I think this should be standard practice before a new set. If we know what archtype is supported heavily reviewing cards already out that support the new ones coming out in the next set makes complete sense, especially when it's an archtype that previously hasn't been widely played.
 
Where is Cyber Dragon, Twin-Headed Cyber Dragon, Cyber End Dragon and the most important of all in my opinion - "Power Bond".
Think of that.

Those are cards from CRV. We're gonna do CRV cards after we do these machine cards.
 
Reminder: We actually did a machine week once before and a number of the cards have already been done like Jinzo, Jinzo #7, and Reflect Bounder, and in the TP week we've done Mechanicalchaser.

So before you decide upon which ones you want to use, PLEASE search through the archives to see which cards have already been done. There really isn't any need to re-review a card that was done less than 6 months ago.
 
Piggybacking on densetsu_x's comment, if you do decide to re-review a card down the line, what do you think about adding to the existing thread to bump it and keep it going.

Over in the fiendish lair I'm a part of, we have an archive (ever expanding if I can opens some time again 8^D) of fiend cards and keep each card in its own thread. That way as new combos come out or restriction lists are added, we can track it through the life of the card. Youd' be amazed and some great insight you'll find back in the "Dark Ages" of 6 months past 8^D
 
I like that idea Dille-O. No sense in doing ALL of the work again but with expansions sometimes it calls for reviewing the card again.
