when cyber jar's effect is resolving during the damage step then all monsters of level 4 or lower get special summoned, can torrential tribute be played since monsters has just been special summoned? people sed its too late cuz when the monsters get special summoned, it's all during the damage step, and ur chances to play torrential tribute is lost.

Since it is during the damage step where flip effects are resolved when Cyber Jar would have its effect resolve, you could not activate "Torrential Tribute".

If however Cyber Jar was flipped during Main Phase 1 or 2 then after the monsters were special summoned you could activate Torrential Tribute and destroy all the newly summoned monsters.

Can you wait for the batle step to finish and then activate your Torrential Tribute?

I would say that it isn't possible, because the last thing that happened at the end of the Damage Step was the arrival of Cyber Jar to the Graveyard, as well as any possible chain that could appear at he end of the Damage Step. In fact, there is the section of "Send to the Graveyard" that gets between the Special Summon and the end of the Damage Step.

The Special Summon of Cyber Jar could never be the last thing to happen at the end of the Battle step, so you can't wait and then activate Torrential Tribute. But don't worry. I also thought before that it was possible.

nope, them you would have missed the timing for TT, as TT can only be activated immediately after summoning(s) have occured, but there is just that small gap between the end of cyber jar's effect and End of damage step, thus preventing TT to be played.
