Cyber Jar + Bottomless Trap Hole effect

is it true that BTH can remove nearly all monster special summoned by Cyber Jar's effect that are 1500 ATK or more and why?

Any face-up monster with an ATK of 1500 or higher that your opponent special summons due to a flipped "Cyber Jar" (as long as you weren't in the damage step) would be removed from play if you activate "Bottomless Trap Hole".

From the UDE FAQ:
"If "Cyber Jar" is flipped during a Main Phase, and the opponent Special Summons "Dark Blade", "Luster Dragon", "Magical Scientist" and a face-down monster, you can activate "Bottomless Trap Hole" and both "Luster Dragon" and "Dark Blade" will be removed from play. The "Magical Scientist", face-down monster, and all monsters you Summoned will remain on the field."

"If "Cyber Jar" is flipped as a result of being attacked, you cannot activate "Bottomless Trap Hole" because it cannot be activated during the Damage Step."

"This card can remove from play multiple monsters at once, if they are Summoned simultaneously. Since this card can affect multiple monsters, it does not target."

The card text states:
"When your opponent Normal Summons, Flip Summons, or Special Summons a monster(s) with an ATK of 1500 or more, the monster(s) is destroyed and removed from play."

Notice the (s) after monster..that's why.

Would you look at that, so is mine, and mine states just 'monster'.

It appears this is another card that did not make the errata list for some reason or another.

If you could get your hands on the reprinted LOD-EN version of the card, I'm sure it's got the corrected text on it.

The only way I've seen to get the reprinted LOD-EN version cards is via the Master Collection, and you only get 1 LOD booster from it, so you'd probably have to buy a bunch of those to luck out and pull a "Bottomless Trap Hole".

I've managed to get this scenario to work - makes for a great expression on the face of your opponent as all their monsters go away!

I use Cyber Jar "religiously" and I can tell you most times I summon at least 3 monsters with it. I'd be quite disappointed if that were to happen to me....

let your opponent attack you then, that way he can't use it since it's damage step
i've used it against others before.. and it rocks..

another circumstance is when someone uses lord of d + flute i love it when 2 bewd just go bye bye!
