"Cyber Jar" - Effect resolution order.

I read a time ago (or at least I think I read it) something about it but I just don't get it .I have this doubt about the effect of "Cyber Jar".

When "Cyber Jar's" effect resolves which player special summon first??

1- The turn Player?
2- The Opponent??
3- Both at the same time??

Re: "Cyber Jar" - Effect resolution order.

In real life, its both at the same time, when you play the games, its whoevers cyber jar flips first.

Re: "Cyber Jar" - Effect resolution order.

i believe that the players who's turn on which the "cyber jar" is flipped has priority, or choice to which player resolves the effect of "cyber Jar"

Re: "Cyber Jar" - Effect resolution order.

The turn player must decide first in which positions to place his/her monsters. But in the end they are all considered to have been special summoned at the exact same time.

This could be more of a trick question idea, **wink wink Tonee**

Re: "Cyber Jar" - Effect resolution order.

From my point of view, it should be both at the same time because if one player draw and summon first will be at tactil disadvantage.

Re: "Cyber Jar" - Effect resolution order.

The monsters are considered Special Summoned at the same time (important for Jowgen and similar), but the Turn Player is the player who must decide the positioning of their own monsters first.

Re: "Cyber Jar" - Effect resolution order.

It is important to put an order in the special summon. Forcing the turn player to summon first is something essential.

I've seen situations where both players try to summon their monsters and they try to play "smart".

Players put their monsters at the same time, then:
- "Ha, If you put your monsters in that position, I will then put my monsters in these other positions to win without any problem"
- "Are you crazy?, if you put your monsters in that position, I will put them like this and you will be in trouble"
- "Then I will put them this way"
- "Then I change them all to attack position"
- Discussion continues... :x

Now that is clear that the turn player goes first...

Question: Is the Game Boy Advance procedure for Cyber Jar an appropriate one (turn players shows an put his/her cards, then the next)? or is it better that both players keep showing their cards and, according to this, turn players put his/her cards, then the next ? :?

Re: "Cyber Jar" - Effect resolution order.

Well, both players reveal simultaneously. But they are allowed to mix the revealed cards around before placing them on the field (particularly important for face-down Special Summons). So if I reveal Magician of Faith, Mask of Restrict, Fiber Jar, and Berserk Gorrilla (as well as Premature Burial which will go to my hand) from Cyber Jar, after you see what I have revealed and what I have seen of yours, I will Special Summon Berserk Gorrilla in attack position and I will place my other three monsters on the field in F/D Defense position. You do not get to know which of my face-down monsters are which.
