Cyber Jar

Not really a question about the effect of the card, cuz its common sense if you read it. The question pertains to some errata my friends keep telling me that Upper Deck did to Cyber Jar.

Is it true that any cards that SHOULD goto your hand after cyber jar's effect goto the graveyard instead? cuz that would suck. I'm just trying to get a clear up on this, thanks.

Notice the word "pick up", so it does not go to your hand. Plus if you put back 2 monsters to you deck, and you picked up 7 spells and 2 "Vampier Lord"s, all of them goes to the Graveyard, and you don't get to special summon anything

put back 2 monsters to the deck? i think you're thinking of Morphing Jar #2.
Cyber Jar's effect is:
FLIP: Destroy all monsters on the field. Both players then pick up 5 cards from the top of their respective Decks and Special Summon all Level 4 or lower Monster Cards among them on the field in face-up Attack Position or face-down Defense Position. The rest of the cards picked up are added to their respective hands.

my only question was, if my friends were telling the truth about an Upper Deck errata that said instead of putting the rest of the cards in your hand, they went to the graveyard

i think Raigekick was thinking of Morphing Jar #2 as well, but the cards go to your hand, not the graveyard

AAAAAAhhhhh. Sorry guys. Big brain fart on my part. I was thinking of "Morphing Jar #2". The putting cards on deck thing confused me. Sorry 'bout that. I'll just go to my little corner and shut up.

lol..its ok....it took me a good year to get Cyber Jar, Fiber Jar, and Morphing Jar #2 straight...thank god no one uses Morphing Jar *shudders*
