Cyberdark and Armed Dragon

This is the situation.

If a player has a face up Cyber Dark Dragon and chooses to equip Armed Dragon Lv 3 to Cyber Dark Dragon can the player send the Armed Dragon to the Graveyard to special summon Lv 5. I'm saying no because the monster is treated as an equipment spell card and not a monster. Someone tell me if I'm right and also help me better explain this. I have until 6:30 before a tournament starts tonight.

Correct.

A Monster equipped to Relinquished, Cyberdark Dragon, etc. do NOT have effects, so you won't be able to send lvl 3 to the grave to summon lvl 5.

Would this apply to Twin-headed Behemoth because we got a tip card saying it would comeback. Thats what prompted the question, but I would imagine it wold then because it activate in the graveyard.

If equipped to "Relinquished" and destroyed, you can use the effect of this card and it will be Special Summoned on your side of the field with ATK/DEF of 1000 points. (If you have not already used this effect once.)

That's because twin-headed behemoth triggers in the Graveyard, where it will always be a monster card. And it only needs to be destroyed as a card for its effect to activate. Armed dragon lv3 is an Ignition Effect that has to be activated on the field. As an Equip Spell Card it has no effect on the field that you would be able to activate.
