Cybernetic Magician

I just wanted to be absolutely sure about Cybernetic Magician and his effect. Since discarding a card to the graveyard is a cost, can you use it over and over again in one turn? It doesn't say on the text that you can only use it once per turn.

Also, since it changes the attack of a card, can it be activated in the damage step? I don't think it can, but wanna be sure.

Thanks in advance for the help. I may be posting more questions that the data base can't answer for me on the new cards.

It's like I always say. Unless a Monster Effect indicates otherwise, then the only time your going to be able to activate it is during you Main Phases. It's the default setting for Monster Effects. There has to be text indicating that you can use it any other time or that it triggers based off of certain timing/events. If it doesn't have an kind of indication as to it's timing, then you can bet it's only usable during your Main Phase 1 and 2.

Well, in defense of the Netrep site, and RONIN for that matter, the very first ruling for "Cybernetic Magician" states his effect is an Ignition Effect. The Version 5.0 Rulebook on page 14 clearly states an Ignition Effect can normally be activated during your Main Phase.
