Woo0, you alright? That post could have been taken as a smart remark, but nonetheless, the answer: D. D. Assailant and D. D. Warrior Lady are still on the field when they resolve. They haven't hit the graveyard yet.
I didn't mean to be rude. Its just I thought he might be trying to make me feel dumb. If this was not the case, then I retract my ignorant statement ^_^.
Thanks for someone using their head instead of assuming.
D. D. Assailants effect is triggered when he is destroyed in Battle; at the resolve effects portion of the Damage Step, D. D. Assailant is still on the field.
His effect does not activate in the Graveyard or Remove from Play.
If his effect stated, "When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard" remove both cards from play", then it would be a Graveyard effect.
It's cool, I get the same answer many times when I send questions to the Judges list. I often ask myself, "Why couln't they just answer the question instead???"
I should have been more specific as I don't really like it myself, but when you actually sit back and think about it, you realize that effects that resolve on the field, like flip effects, cannot happen since they are not sent to the Graveyard yet.
