Ever notice that its usually the same people posting d-hero related decks? Maybe its just me but thats the way it looks to my eyes. Try this one on for size.

DMOC. Jinzo. d-hero malicious. d-hero disc commander. destiny draw.

So any fixes ya want as long as those cards arent mentioned. if they are then please only mention them if youre willing to trade them with me.
 
So yeah im going away for a couple of days so if anyone would like to give me some fixes for this I will read them when i can. I would really appreciate the help cos as it stands the deck isnt all that good. Only wins 6/10 times. Id like to increase that amount a little.
 
its fat and no diamond dude- nothing wrong with either of those things...i'm fat w/o diamonds :D
really- all i can say is seems as if it needs ways to get cards in graveyard, in addition to snipe hunters...morphing jar would be first choice for me... i'm also a fan of lightening vortex- it can stop an onslought and dump a dasher.... another possibility might be darkworld lightening...
there's a little warrior - spell striker- that may provide a spcl summon for tribute fodder when hand is clogged....and of course find room for a stratos...
have you played with it yet? what problems does it have??
 
Wow a response just before i packed up my laptop.

Well the problems with it were mainly speed related. Couldnt get stuff out when it was needed. Thats why i added sangan (even though i hate him) and ROTA. Also I added UO to help get my guys on the field once i had them in hand which helped a little especially when it cam time for dogma to make an appearance.

Also it never seemed to hit hard. Even with 5 heavy hitters (well 4 and one potential) Usually Id stall until clock tower got up 4 counters and then just went nuts attacking anything and everything that moved. Usually I had 2 dashers in the grave by then too so when they destroy clock tower dreadmaster gets an awfully big boost.

I do have one spare diamond dude but no clue what to remove for him. If ya could suggest something please do. As yet i have no morphing jar or stratos but im trying to get both. And I should have said I have no WC07 cards so unfortunately no spell striker either. Bummer isnt it. I was thinking lightning vortex as well but as with diamond dude cant bring myself to chuck anything out for it. I suppose i could drop the d-shields but they really help in a pinch. I dunno. Any ideas on what to remove to make space could really help me.
 
nothing wrong with not running diamond dude - it would require tweaking spell line up to get max effect - he needs normal spells - not fields,equips or quickplays....so it would end up being a different playing deck.... i think...
what to take out - that's always the rub isnt it? its easy to see what would be of use
the defenders are a great wall but giving opponent a card...ouch (that ended my fascination with them quickly)- although they would have symetry with morphing jar - helping you to get it off - opponent less likely to attack into a set monster with low life points...as well as fishing out his nobleman for you...
i had a tough time with tenacious... keeping him on field until he could recur something for me so i might take 1 out...
i might try maxing out d signals to improve speed ( pulling from deck is huge - even if you do not always get it off)
there is a card called card trader that helps fat decks play thinner, and aids combos - its card trader...once accustomed to it's timing its really an ok card...might help give up a wee bit of stall to increase speed/hand cycling....
i have to say though - dasher loves a dino - ultimate tyranno- a 3000 atk assura priest like effect - if you love going berserk he's your guy...facing 2-3 monarchs? bunch of pesky gadgets? noooo prob - a great side deck choice...that guy causes opponents to set back row bluffs like crazy.... :nod_yes dosent fit theme & support - but a riot none the less
keep posting - i'd like to keep up with the deck....changes plusses & minuses...
 
Too many crappy D-Heros

destiny hero - double dude = HORRIBLE. Dasher and Malicious are so superior it's not even funny.

destiny hero - blade master = crap. discard for just getting a little bit of ATK boost... D-Hero stats are so bad that a minor boost won't help at all.

destiny hero - captain tenacious = people will destroy him first then the other ones if he's out. Overall, Fear Monger is better.

I'll say this right now. The GOOD D-Heros

D-Hero Dasher
D-Hero Malicious
D-Hero Diamond Dude
D-Hero Disk Commander
D-Hero Fear Monger (IF you combine this with Disk Commander, then it's really not that worth it. Your only good target in that deck is just Dasher)

And your missing the best D-Hero support stuff. Like Elemental Hero Stratos and Destiny Draw.

Okay, so you don't have Destiny Draw/Malicious/Disk Commander. Fine, but at least add a E-Hero Stratos and maybe a couple Diamond Dude. Diamond Dude have the highest stat for non-tribute D-Hero. Not to mention a decent effect.
 
Maybe that's the point of this particular deck. To do something with the D-Heroes that everyone else isn't willing to invest the time in.
 
a different tack maybe...
3x diamond dudes
3x d d survivors (dark warriors if not d heros)
3x lightening vortex
2 or 3x phoenix blades
1 dim fusion& 1,2,3 rfdd...
with a removal engine that adds ways to both dump dasher and reset them
vortex is paid with dasher or phoenix blade or tapped with diamond dude
phoenix blade removes spent dashers
df & rfdd for big hits and big tribute summons- returned dashers that find way to grave are reset...
magical merchant is old school deck to grave dumper that puts a spell/trap in hand - not destiny draw or card trooper but maybe viable -( i use them in my e hero deck to fuel miracle fusion)
draw power becomes a big deal, morphing jar whatever...support like my body as a shield/solemn to protect aggression/sets...
but that shies away from the destiny hero theme a bit
 
Actually Dj the idea of the deck is that I cant get any better d-heros than these. After all I am a poor poor person. And doc its for that reason that unfortunately I cant put a stratos in either.

The removal idea is interesting alright. Especially If I manage to remove 3 dashers a dreadmaster and some other random e-hero. That would be very very nice when returned. Definately an interesting idea for when i get fusion and return. Definately some interesting thoughts being born from this.
 
Some aster packs have helped me update this thing a little but more input is still needed. Can anyone help me with this still?

well some things wrong with your ideas. How am i supposed to ditch dasher with only 1 discard card? POA doesnt really help much cos I like having them stay in the grave for when dreadmaster comes out to play.

Elemental Hero Stratos.......Dont have either.

omatoes are a good idea though and to a lesser extent wildhearts but mostly id stall it out for dreadmaster then attack for game regardless of what traps the opp has down.
 
the hope with pot of avarice is to hit it with diamond dude - then ( i think) you return nothing to deck - just draw 2.....also why addition of cards like lightening vortex, smashing ground , fissure, brain control, and missing is, warrior return alive... nice with stratos, to reset a dasher, etc....all normal that work well with diamond dude & dasher depending whether drawn or not.... trying to improve utility/synergy.... so basically normal spells with power that help dasher and or diamond dude....takes a bit of thought... diamond dude hits a terraforming - thats a good thing right?
can i ask a favor? go back and edit- then click button to parse cards in text....i have not messed with d heros in a while - makes it easier when i dont have to go thru Netrepâ„¢ to find card to make sure i remember right...

You need to return 5 monsters even with Diamond Dude. The returning is part of the effect.

As a personal preference, I would rather focus on the Diamond Dudes alone, not DDT, just using some simple spells like Upstart Goblin and Nobleman of Extermination.
 
Everything of Pot of Avarice is part of the effect. Nothing is a cost so you still need to send 5 cards from grave to deck first before drawing two. It's not Destiny Draw.

If it was a cost, chaining stuff like Disappear/D.D. Crow/etc. on Pot of Avarice wouldn't work since you can't negate a cost.
