i was reading some cards and i noticed this

on "dark magician girl"


Increase the ATK of this monster by 300 points for each "Dark Magician" or "Magician of Black Chaos" in either player's Graveyard.

i was thinking to my self, i don't know that card.

so i searched ronin, it wasn't in there

i searched nettrap revolution's card registery, it wasn't in there.

my question, does this card exist or not.

and if it is not, why is it on dark magician girl.

I think it doesn't exist. They translate it from Japanees and there the got the card (that is what I think). And maybe in the future the card will come out.

You know I now that card but only from playing on the emulator, but BEUD was on that. It looks cool, I alos belive it used to be on the show. In the starting credits.

Magician of Black Chaos
Dark/Spellcaster/Ritual/8/2800/2600
This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card, "Dark Magic Ritual".


Not yet released in areas where UDE distributes the cards.

Strange that it'd be a Sneak Peek card or a Shonen Jump card, since traditionally they only hand out 1 card at a time. Any Ritual Monster needs its own Ritual Spell Card to go alongside it, so unless Sneak Peak or Shonen Jump dishes out both at the same time I'd say it was unlikely that'd happen. If anything I'd expect Magician of Black Chaos and Dark Magic Ritual to come in one of the reprint sets or something like that.

How were Magician of Black Chaos and Dark Magic Ritual released in Japan? New sets have been known to reprint older cards (well, Card of Sanctity), so if these two cards came as promos somewhere, then it's possible they'll reappear in a future set which will then become available to us (perhaps even in the set after Elemental Energy).

Just my opinion, of course. I don't know what the rumours say.

Treasure Gift From heaven were released at the same time. It was a special promo given early to kids wb winners of some contest.

Magician of Black Chaos was in a LE pack with its ritual. It might be a game promo later on.

also, Dark Ritual Monsters have more than just their specific ritual cards. :)

yea Treasure Gifts of heaven was released in TLM.

you would think that since its an anime card the OCG would have it, but guess what they never had it, the TLM release was the first time release.

other than TLM only 500 copies were made before that and were given in a special Kids WB contest.

they were printed in common form.

now, MOBC was given in a special pack for the OCG it contained its ritual and a few other ritual monsters with their rituals.

so basically its amater of time when we get that card. :)

yup...yugi used it in his final battle against pegasus @ duelist kingdom...
