Dark Magician of Chaos
Effect Monster (Spellcaster / DARK / 8 Stars / ATK 2800 / DEF 2600)
When this card is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned successfully, you can add 1 Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand. A monster that is destroyed by this monster as a result of battle is removed from play instead of going to the Graveyard. When this card is destroyed or removed from the field, it is removed from play.
Ok... I know most everyone was waiting for this one. Whip out "Dedication through Light and Darkness", offer your "Dark Magician" as a tribute and bring out this heavy hitter. Assuming the timing is correct, DMoC also has the added benefit of getting any spell card from your graveyard and returning it to your hand. Monsters it battles and destroys are removed from play. The only downside is that when he leaves the fiend for any reason, he is removed from play as well.
Honestly, I like him, but ever since "Dark Magician of Chaos" was restricted to 1, his playability has decreased a great deal. He still is a strong monster with a great effect, but with so many ways to remove him from the field, it is more of a 1 shot deal (with 2 expensive ways to bring him back). All and all, it's the best you can do with your "Dark Magician" (outside of perhaps "Dark Paladin") and with the right deck built around it, something that can really disrupt your opponent's play.
