Dark Paladin Question?

Does dark paladin need DM and BB to be the fusion material monsters? Or could i use somthing like king of the swamp to substitute for one of them? :?

Yep, king of the swamp/goddess of the third eye etc. etc. are fusion material substitutes and as such can replace either the Dark Magician or Buster Blader for that fusion.

The way those cards work for fusions in general is just as a replacement so for any fusion you just need 1 of the actual required monsters and 1 substitute plus of course the polymerization/fusion gate to pull off the fusion

Cool because i don't really want to use Buster Blader, plus that king of the swamp's effect will come in handy!
