Ouch. Not even one comment. Anyways, I made an adjustment. Gren works better off of a Dark World Lightning discard.

-1 Kahkki, Guerilla of Dark World
+1 Gren, Tactician of Dark World

As it turns out, Dark Deal is an excellent trump card to Gadget decks.

IMO, Reign-Beaux sucks. I HAVE to be discarded by your foe's card effect. So Morphing Jar/Dark World Dealing/Lightning/Card Destruction/etc are all crap with that card. It's pretty much just Dark Deal or your foe smacking you with Don Zaloog/Thestalos/reaper/etc.

Gren and kakkhi, it all depends on WHAT your opponent is playing. using kakkhi's effect on a Gadget is totally worthless, but at the same time, against Monarch decks, you should pack more Kakkhi. I guess it's what you expect in your area. (And have the alternative multiples in your sidedeck) But for now, maybe more Gren since we lack Breaker. (And Gadgets are popular right now.)

lol Jathro, since SToN isn't linked to card database yet (obviously, not complaining), could you post card effect text for SToN cards?

STON cards linked per request.

Bear in mind that Reign-Beaux will also work off of a Creature-Swapped Morphing Jar.

I love it, my darkworld deck never did make me happy so I'm going to try yours out after I grab a few; my only question is what would you think about dumping the brain control for enemy controller?

I would think that would be an excellent fix.

I can't decide if I want to keep the 3x Nimble Momonga, or if I'd rather use the spots for something else. Perhaps 1x Exiled Force, 1x Giant Rat (bringing both to 2), and 1x ______? Maybe D.D. Assailant, and then I could run Reinforcement of the Army. Not sure which direction to go here. The Nimbles are nice to help alleviate the Dark Deal cost.

One prob with card of Safe Return, you can't use treeborn Frog. And in a deck that usually packs like 3x Goldd/Sillva... you can't afford a continous card usually.

As usual, I agree with the good doctor. I've been tweaking this deck, and have come up with a more aggressive lineup that seems to work better. It is as follows:

Deck Name: Dark World Dealings
Author: Jeremy Johnson
Count: 42

Tribute Monsters: 8
Cyber Dragon x2
Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World x3
Sillva, Warlord of Dark World x2
Reign-Beaux, Overlord of Dark World

Non-Tribute Monsters: 11
Broww, Huntsman of Dark World
Brron, Mad King of Dark World x2
Gren, Tactician of Dark World x2
Kahkki, Guerilla of Dark World x2
Morphing Jar
Sangan
Spirit Reaper
Treeborn Frog

Spells: 15
Book of Moon
Brain Control
Card Destruction
Creature Swap
Dark World Dealings x2
Dark World Lightning x3
Heavy Storm
Mystical Space Typhoon
Nobleman of Crossout
Premature Burial
Smashing Ground
Snatch Steal

Traps: 8
Call of the Haunted
Dark Deal x2
Deck Devastation Virus x2
Mirror Force
Ring of Destruction
Torrential Tribute

I would take the good Dr.'s advice and not worry about Reign-Beaux. Instead I would put in a 3rd Brron, Mad King. Maybe its me, but I find that having a full contingent of the Mad King to be a really helpful thing.

- Reign Beaux
+ Brron, Mad King

And why not any Gateway to Dark World in here? Im guessing that its because of the weaker DW monsters your have. But Kahkki and Lightning sub for Nobleman of Crossout and I can't picture an opponent setting so often that you need all of that.

- NoC
+Gateway

Only other thing I might do is swap 1 DDV for Forces of Darkness, so you get more of those discard material monsters back in hand. 1 DDV for 5 Dark monsters seems plenty. Otherwise DDV starts to stagnate for you.

-1 DDV
+1 Forces of Darkness

Well, he does already have 3 Lightnings. And he's only 1 short on the Dealings. So, sure, why not?

We dropped the gren and khaki for card of safe return. Yes it sometimes hurts treeborn, but once opponents see the speed that you can draw in to your deck with it then they start to focus on it and it will die. This can force them to miss other things, like set rings/mirror forces.

In one turn againt me my son started with 4 cards in hand. They turned out to be 2 * Golld, card of safe return and card destruction. By the end of his turn he had 4 monsters on the field and 4 cards still in his hand. he drew into 2 dark world dealings and a silvva/golld. His total draw excluding his normal one was eight cards. I lost.

Hope this helps.

I understand people wanting that draw power out of Card of Safe Return. I just don't care for it personally. Rather than use that card to potentially draw another card, I'd sooner use Jar of Greed. But then again, I'd rather use something like monster, or S/T destruction than either.

Not that I don't feel Card of Safe Return isn't worth it... I just feel the deck has enough speed/swarm as it is.

I'll be playtesting this tomorrow, so expect an update following. Thanks everyone.

i was kinda thinkin'...if card of safe return is in and treeborn is out - could you squeeze in 1 or 2 spell strikers to un clog your hand? the extra draws might make it worthwhile ..... maybe viable - maybe not - not to theme ...hmmm... kind of a random thought - they're on my mind of late...

Hmmm. Spell Striker was something I hadn't thought of. They could help in a pinch to get those trib DWers out if a discard outlet isn't on hand. And there should always be a Spell in the deck. Any suggestions on what to remove to make room for 2?

I would take out the Reign-Beaux. He can only be summoned by the opponent's card effect. Even though it will work off a Creature Swapped Morphing Jar, that will not happen much. I think putting in another Sillva, Warlord of Dark World would be better.

Also Broww, Huntsman of Dark World is not as useful as another Brron, Mad King of Dark World would be in your deck, because of all the monsters to throw away with his effect.

Magician of Darkness:
How many monsters could he POSSIBLY discard in today's metas realistically?
I say stick to either the Broww, or even Beiige for that field presence.
He's this decks Cyber Dragon basically.
Re: Reign-Beau
Personal choice here I'd only run him if I also ran Gateway to Darkworlds.
Note the s on Darkworlds 2 or more.
He's a nice piece of Monarch or Jinzo hate to have in this meta.
Quite the nasty little surprise when your opponent isn't expecting a 2500 Atk on the field.
Don't run him for his EFFECT!! No, no, run him for his STRENGTH or not at ALL!!
