Dasher: Showing Monster

I know that you can chain to the activation of Dasher, but do you need to show the monster you want to special summon during activation or resolution?

Activation. You need to prove tat his effect can in fact be activated.
I thought that too, but then I thought that it's only in the game's eye that it needs to be proven. The game knows the content of each player's hand, so it knows which card you drew, so it knows whether you can properly activate Destiny Hero - Dasher's effect. Is that all that's needed, or does the opponent need to know which monster it is, so they can counteract if necessary.

It's similar to Heart of the Underdog, and that says you show the card at activation. I suppose the opponent does need to know, after all.

When you show a Normal Monster Card to your opponent to activate "Heart of the Underdog", your opponent can chain "Drop Off". You will have to discard that Normal Monster Card, but "Heart of the Underdog" still resolves its effect.
