Deck Devastation Virus and Flips

I was wondering: if Deck Devastation Virus checks all monsters (face up and face down), when checking the face-downs...it would be a "Pick up" or a "Flip"? (Kinda confused with Acid Trap Hole...)

The "Check" mechanic is this case would be similar to De-Spell, so you would not activate Flip Effects.

Hence, why it SHOULD'VE been called "Deck, Hand and Field Devastation Virus".

Destroys the monsters face-down and no flip effects activate.

It's effect isn't that great in that sense since not everybody runs so many small creatures.. what i really & abosolutely love about this card is it's allowing me to see opponent's hand AND the cards he draw for the next three turns ... That opens up so many options! No wonder they banned Confiscation & forceful sentry

It is indeed a killer effect i love the fact with The Last Warrior from Another Planet they cant do nothing
