Decks abusing Ritual Foregone?

I tried thinking about it. I mean, paying 1000LP to summon a Ritual without any cost is awesome, even IF you can't attack and it dies. For one thing, most of Ritual monsters still have excellent effects.

But in this case that it cannot attack, I thought the best choice are either Zork or Demise.

But it's hard to think of a Demise + Ritual Foregone deck.

NOTE: Ritual Foregone is

Normal Spell
Pay 1000 Life Points. Special Summon 1 Ritual Monster from your hand. The Ritual Monster Special Summoned by this effect cannot attack, and is destroyed during the End Phase. Only 1 "Ritual Foregone" can be activated per turn.

I thought of two cards that can support it. Last Will and Metamorphosis.

Last Will, if you had another monster on the field, after you pay 2000LP with Demise, you can Last Will it to summon a monster You can Don Zaloog, Lily pump, Mataza for 2600LP, or even Hand of N to tribute Demise for SPoN. Even IF you had no other monster on the field, Demise will kill itself so activating Last Will still get you a monster in the end phase.

But a better card IMO is Metamorphosis. I mean, paying Demise 2000LP to wipe the field can bring out Cyber Twin Dragon on a blank field. Now that's just PURE awesome. (Toss in Limiter and it's game) With Ritual Foregone that's 3000LP, but heck, people pay 5000LP with Stein. This thing does it with only 3000LP and without the need for Heavy/Trunade. It's WORTH it.

But here's the prob. Both Last Will AND Metamorphosis are both 1 per deck. If you can run Metamorphosis with 3x, I'll DEFINATELY make a Demise + Foregone deck... but that isn't the case here. With 1x of each... it's not really that worth the risk...

So, can ya guys think of better ways to support a deck that'll focus on Ritual Foregone. I mean, paying 1000LP to cut down all that level star cost is worth it if you can pull a win condition with those Ritual monster effects still kicking in.

Relinquished, Paladin of White Dragon, Reshef the Dark Being. Make something out of that.

could you chain ddv to demise's effect? trash hand & field...see next 3 draws...its a lot to put together but nasty....

a relinquished that's sucked up a monarch, cyber dragon , jinzo etc is then a dark 2000+ that combo's well with ddv too...

Demise and Paladin would gain the most out of it. You're either paying 1000 for a quick Blue-Eyes, or 3000 to nuke the field.

Zorc's a bit too risky (paying 1000 and rolling a 6? Suuuuuuuuck.), and Relinquished would be kinda...well...basically paying 1000 LP for a 2-card Smashing Ground. Yyyyyyyeah, no.

The sticking point I really have with it, though, is that from the wording, you wouldn't be able to bring the Ritual Monster back to use again since it wasn't summoned properly (since it says "Special Summon", not "Ritual Summon). Not my idea of fun in a Ritual deck, and I love running 'em.

Exactly. The monster is dead on arrival once it hits the Graveyard. It ain't coming back.

I decided to run a Zorc/Demise ritual deck after the events of last weekend...

I was running my stall/burn deck against my eldest daughter...
We used a dice to determine order of play...
We had 5 matches & 4 times in a ROW I rolled a "1" (no kidding)
The other time, I rolled a "2"
Suffice to say, she always went first...
Suffice to say, she won 4/5 matches...
Suffice to say my only thought was about Dark Master- Zorc all that time..

Then I hear about Sand Moths & Demise being great together..
Suffice to say I went "stuff this, I'm making me a Dark Ritual deck".

(paying 1000 and rolling a 6? Suuuuuuuuck.),
It never happens when I play "Trouble" or "Mario Party" EITHER!!! :-:
*maybe luck/fate would have it another way if I actually WANTED to roll a "1" I dunno...
Well at least there's GY fodder for Dark Necrofear if I dont..

ummm, we were talking about effects that reborn, not returning to hand or Deck.

Would the effect of it getting destroyed at the end of the turn be negated if the monster was flipped face down? I would say yes just like the ruling with Magical Scientist.

If the Fusion Monster is flipped face-down with "Book of Moon", or removed from play with "Dimensionhole" or "Interdimensional Matter Transporter" or "Different Dimension Gate", the effect is reset and the Fusion Monster does not go back to the Fusion Deck, and is not prohibited from attacking your opponent's Life Points directly.
