Decks that were made..... and FAILED!

I like running creative decks... My Favorite "glee KO" but anyone attempt a creative deck that failed miserably. I have, actually many but the one i'd like to talk about is Superman. One the strongest characters in marvel or DC comics... but when it comes to cards steer away. But I wasn't afraid, I loved the challenge . SO my first mission was to find the insane cards that would take it over the top.... the first super speed.. a card that lets superman attack twice that's fantastic. Then look-alike squad came out... I read the effect and almost crapped my pants...... I pictured dropping my seven drop..l. then letting him stun then bringing out my 6 drop and so one.... then attacking directy with my left over guys. What i created was... garbage, just straight garbage.. my hand ran out and could nvr use the effect of look alike squad or for a matter of fact I nvr had a chance to win... and for superspeed i stuned on the first attack!!!!!!!!!!! I just wondering if anyone else faced this deck building horror! I still have nightmares about the deck

Only time I ever ran into that was when I tried to do what everyone told me, even though they didn't know what I was trying to do. The problem with trying new things is that, either the advice of your freinds or your previous training in deck building, will conflict with the new thing you are trying to accomplish. Old strategies, favorite cards or "gaming non no's" will not neccessarily gel with the new thing you are trying. In TCGs and in VS especially, you have to abandon what you know each time you construct something new. You have to look at the effects from a frexh perspective. Longshot isn't neccessarily going to work in every Army Deck. Forcing your opponent to draw cards isn't a bad thing if your beating him to death at every turn.

With my deck I just had to go in different direction from what I and everybody elkse was thinking. Sometimes Avalon Space Sation does nothing for you. Sometimes, there's no reason for additional reinforcement. Sometimes, you don't need hit your curve. I guess what I'm saying is, it migth not be a crappy as you think, if you think about it in a different way.

ROFL.... Wasn't that the day that you called it a stall deck but kept losing by turn 4...lol I don't think I ever laughed so hard in my life!!! Seriously I think something inside popped because I was laughing so hard...

The weird thing was the deck idea made complete sense and we tried so many different things to make it work... damn it just sucked!!!

Anyways... HELLFIRE...HELLFIRE...HELLFIRE... it will work, I will it to work!

Yo, DaAmazing1, he's making fun of you!!! Remember that deck you built with the Fan Fun idea but threw in the JLI? Thats what he's knocking on? Howd that work out for you anyway?

Well with everyone running so much 1 drop hate it SUCKED!!!!!! But its no different than that ten teams deck that everyone thinks is so good.....

Wait... what about that GLEE KO deck! I don't think that thing went anywhere either...lol

I didn't build this deck but man was it terrible... doom/mk so much potential... but so much garbage. lol I wish ideas made a deck good. The worse deck..... i almost built.. doom spider friends (before straight to the grave.. or any good searcher came out) the idea seemed so good back them... can't target my characters.. and i slow u down... then bam 7 drop spidy hits yeah.. wait a minute... enemy of my enemy..... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
